    [Discussion] Why did Dice end support for Middle Eastern servers in Battlefield 1?

    The moment dice had announced middle eastern servers for battlefield 1 I hopped in and I immediately noticed the difference in responsiveness. What I don't understand is why they ended support for middle eastern servers only a few weeks after they were announced. Why would they do that? I tried playing recently but the game now makes high ping players compensate a lot more than before.

    Sorry but I couldn't find anything about this topic in the subreddit. I bet someone already discussed this but I couldn't find any thread unfortunately.

    I've been looking at some reviews of the game and damn it look fun. The titan mode looked awesome and so dynamic. There were quite a few ways to do things etc, reminded me of space combat in swbf2 2005 but with ground fighting as well and more. What swbf2 2017 should have given us, although it's improved. Either way it looks insanely fun and imagine how good it would be with today's tech.

    I'm sheltering at home like everyone else, and trying to get into multiplayer games by joining some buddies who play BF:1942.

    It's not on Steam, the CD versions you can buy on Amazon don't work with anything newer than Windows ME, and the only articles I can find about it being on Origin are from 2012. I found a torrent on a wix website (not linking because I assume that's not encouraged), but I am not that interested in running free .rar files from random corners of the web.

    I'm happy to pay for the game, I just want to know where to safely access it.
