    Is bf5 considered to be a ‘bad game’ after all the things that have happened to it?

    So I've never played bf5, I've played the open beta for bf1 and a lot of bf4 even to this day, I've wanted to get one of the later BF games and I'm stuck trying to decide between bf1 and bf5. But I've only ever heard of the negative sides of BF5, but I don't want to be biased against it so I wanted to ask the community this.

    Only from what I've heard it sounds as though the game has had a bit of a rocky lifespan, with content that didn't appeal to many people's dreams of 'reliving world war two', but dispite the historical accuracy of the game, does it still have fun gameplay? What changed between bf1 to this? What is the 'atmosphere' like? Are there any parts of it that are really unbalanced and could potentially ruin the experience?

    I got BF1 with my XB1S a few years ago, and i recently got that battlefield itch again. I play on PC now, in NA, and was thinking about buying it again.

    I checked the steam charts for BF1 and there are less than 500 people playing right now, and then i checked Battlefield V and it's only slightly better at around 800. Will i still be able to find matches easily or can i consider Battlefield dead and move on?

    I've played the open beta for bf1, but none of bf5. But I've heard a lot of backlash about bf5 and wondered if you'd consider bf1 to be better?

    From what my friends have told me, vehicles seem to be very unbalanced in bf5, being super strong and hard to take down, whereas bf1 looks like it's vehicles are not as hard to take down.

    I've also heard the gunplay is different but I don't know how it differs.
