    got this game on pc yesterday, and I loved the mp412 rex on ps3 back in the day. I can't seem to play with my roommate for some reason, so i"m wondering if anybody else wants to try and unlock some of the co op weapons

    How does battlelog connect to the game?

    Hi, does anyone know how does the game launching work behind the scenes? I know that it sends multiple requests for example:
    - ping to see if there's free slots and if not keep pinging until there is
    - ping to see if i'm maybe banned from the server
    - send a request to reserve a slot for me
    - then join
    but i'm not sure how it entirely works and how it gets certain things like the authcode for instance. I do know there's also commandline arguments for launching bf3.exe, BF3WebHelper.exe and EACoreServer.exe, I've used procexp to inspect them but there's still a few things unclear for me like the logintoken argument (what request generates it). Copying the command from the procexp with the arguments and launching it in the CMD runs the game but immediately closes it. It's very likely that it changes some arguments each time.

    The reason I'm asking is I'm trying to make a commandline tool for joining servers and to add a few more things like saving filters and reusing them. I'd also like to tackle a few issues I was having like not being able to join where a simple origin restart fixes things and that could be easily automated. I've tried finding similar stuff on github but I wasn't able to find anything completed, most were abandoned projects.

    Any help is appreciated.
