    [Battlefield 1] Battlefield 1 Premium Pass

    I only wanted to ask this before buying the Premium Pass. Are there a lot of people playing the dlc maps? Battlefield V has been a bit too stale for me after playing it for 300+ hours (i find it still fun tho) and wanted to go back to Battlefield 1 for a bit, but I also wanted to upgrade to Premium. Is it worth it now to buy the Premium Pass in 2020?

    This is my opinion and I hope to have an actual discussion about it. A new battlefield IP should be a modern combat game. Bring back battlefield 4 and 3 maps with it. More DLCs that remind of BF3 Close Quarters, End Game and especially After Math in my opinion. Armored Kill was amazing as well. I own the whole current Battlefield Series and I go back to 3 and 4 more than the others. BF2 Vietnam is the shit still. But Battlefield 3 had that more intense feeling of combat. It felt cleaner and "realistic". I guess it pulled you more into the game.

    Battlefield 3 DLCs:

    • Back to Karkand
    • Close Quarters
    • Armored Kill
    • Aftermath
    • End Game

    Still going in my opinion. A modern combat Battlefield IP would revive the series entirely. These are my thoughts of course. I've seen fewer servers in bf5 more and more now which does sort of sadden me. Going back to BF1 it's stable enough. For BF3 and BF4 servers are less but still full with around 32 or 64 players max with some servers still queuing to join in-game.

    DICE should stop with the historical stories and come back to a more modern or even revisit 2142.

    I think DICE should be done with "historical" battlefields for awhile and focus on a game where everyone in the community can enjoy again. Why not revisit 2142 or make another not too far in the future battlefield? u/Scratch_Mehoff

    I agree with being done with the historical side of Battlefield. But going into 2142 might not revive it if you think about it. We have a shit ton of AAA games that are futuristic currently still alive. If DICE comes out with a Modern Battlefield game. IT WILL GO TO THE ROOF (just don't disappoint us).

    Even with games launching terribly with bugs like BF4. They didn't give up on it and revived it staying alive for 7 years! Even more with BF3. It is sad that EA servers for BF3 and BF4 are down for good. But the community still keeps servers up. At least they still do maintenance.
