Posted: 05 May 2022 01:06 AM PDT What battlefield is the most active for pc? I recently downloaded BF1 and that seems pretty dead, what's V or 2042 like? [link] [comments]
does 2042 have a tdm type mode on a smaller scale like 16v16? Posted: 05 May 2022 05:53 AM PDT I enjoyed bf4 and played tdm because the gunplay was great. does 2042 have anything similar? [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 May 2022 01:39 AM PDT My friend and I are looking for a title to get into the series. Which one would you suggest as a good first Battlefield experience? We were thinking about Battlefield 1 Revolution, but also for a good advice from the community. Thanks [link] [comments]

Keyboard keys getting stuck / input lag / cant move SOLUTION Posted: 05 May 2022 04:24 AM PDT So I had a problem with Battlefield 1, when I was moving, after moving for like 1-6 seconds I would get stuck or stop all of a sudden and my mouse would have in put lag aswell. after searching all over the web, I couldn't find a single working solution. But after disabling Origin in game overlay, it fixed it completely! And I had a similar problem with other origin games like Plants vs Zombies also fixed bcs disabling Origin overlay. The Problem is with some reason when you move your mouse somehow interacts with the overlay even when its not on the screen and isn't visible. You can disable it by choosing the game in the origin game library and then left clicking the settings button that looks like a gear, press Game properties and on the first tab there should be a box that you can uncheck. ( SO IT COMES WITH A DRAWBACK. If someone invites you, you need to alt+tab to press yes to the invite or no if you dislike them ). I very much hope that it help you and if you can, leave an upvote so others can also find this. Have fun and ask questions if you have a problem finding it! [link] [comments]

My BF3 Story Where I Accidentally Became The Candyman On Caspian Border Posted: 04 May 2022 07:41 PM PDT Funny story, back in BF3, teenage days, I made up a game where 1 person plays hunter, the other is soldier. Hunter gets knife, UAV, and smokes, Soldier gets a pistol, and we select a secluded area of the map. (Note: this was when counter knifing didn't exist.) I did this a few times for fun, until one day I got in a group chat, 3 others join me with the idea, we play along on Caspian border, a very open area at the top right where the candy pole (*important*). This goes on until the group gets another friend to join the chat, and at this point I started calling myself 'Candyman', a classic. So things progress, I decide to get creepy and quiet, saying "call my name out 3 times and I appear", the friends are finding it funny since they already noticed I changed gears, and their friend is freaking out a little so they defend him on an open plain, so no way I could sneak up. Except I was already in a idle bush. So he then proceeds to say call it, "Candyman Candyman Candyman", all the friends are looking for me, except they all look away from the bush I'm hiding in, and not 2 seconds later, WHAM! I stab from behind, and the friend Screams! "AAAA!!!" the friends look back and with the scream they laugh at how I got behind and stabbed him, and I'm cackling my head off like a madman(kid). After that things settled, left and never played with them again, about my favourite gaming story ever. [link] [comments]

Battlefield 5 Sturmtiger - 1440p 60fps Ray Tracing ✅ Posted: 04 May 2022 06:52 PM PDT

Posted: 04 May 2022 11:48 AM PDT As he title says, I think BF2: Modern Combat, despite of being a console exclusive, is the only game of the franchise so far, that properly managed to portrait the usual Battlefield gameplay in a singleplayer campaign. Granted, it has been ages since I played the game on my PS2, but from my memories, it was closer to what Battlefield actually is like, than the current games are. First and foremost, the game actually featured a class system, with most of the classes from BF2 being present in the game. The Spec Ops soldier specialised in silenced weapons, the Assault was your regular solider, the Support was turned into the medic, the Sniper spotted enemies and marked vehicles and so on. Granted, there were some changes made for the game, like the Support having no ammo boxes, but all in all, you had the same class variety as in the main game, which you being able to switch between them on the fly. Which leads me to reason two, the Hot Swap mechanic. It works like the opening level of BF1, where you swap to a different soldier when you die, only that it was a fully flashed out feature in this game. Basically, as long as you had AI teammates, you were able to control of them and switch between classes in this way to help with your objectives. You need to conquer a position? Switch to the Assault or Support. There are enemy tanks incoming? Switch to the Engineer and blast them to hell. There are enemies out in the open? Switch to the Sniper. Now granted, some levels restricted this system, by only giving you few teammates to switch into or none at all, but all in all, it was a very cool idea that I would like to see an upcoming games. Reason three, the game had tickets, which meant that there was a sense of urgency. You couldn't just linger around and bid your time, but actually had to press the objective, because otherwise your teammates would get killed and cost you the level. Reason four, the levels were more open. Granted, some levels were more linear than others and your objectives appeared in consequitive orders, but the area you were able to move around was rather large for the time. For example, I remember a desert map, where you had to use a jeep to drive from village to village. Or a foresty snow map with a bridge you had to destroy in the end, where you could walk around while tackling each objective. This also allowed you a bit to make life easier for yourself. For example, in one level, you have to conquer an enemy base, before defending it against incoming reinforcement. Now, when you play the level regularly, you will have to deal with groups of enemies more or less on your won. When you are quick though, you can rush into the base, steal the enemy's attack helicopter and use it to clear the base and defend it pretty easily. It wasn't a perfect game, but the Hot Swap feature was a rather neat mechanic, that got barely used in other games to my knowledge and despite of being part of a story, the game still made you feel like a faceless grunt, because the character you controlled could actually die.
