    What type of BF4 player are you?

    I will be honest; I've played Battlefield for nearly a decade and BF4 specifically on three separate systems (PS3, PS4 and currently PC) and I'm not good in vehicles. I've always gravitated towards infantry. I can do okay in a transport helicopter but that's about it. I'm a less-than-stellar vehicle player. I love being a soldier on the ground. That being said, what do you people enjoy playing as most? A soldier? Driver? Pilot? A bit of everything?

    Tips & Tricks for Tank/LAV Gunners to maximize potential

    A good gunner is just as important to vehicle dominance as the driver. I prefer gunning for the most part, and even with random drivers and minimal communication we can go on some great streaks and control a match. I thought I'd put together some tips for players to be a more efficient gunner and not the bane of your driver's existence.

    -Run Engineer and a Repair Tool + Launcher. This one should be obvious. The gunner's main role besides gunning is to repair. Tip: You'll always exit the vehicle in the direction your turret is facing, so turn your turret towards the rear if you want to exit behind the vehicle. Handy if you need to repair during a tank battle so you don't exit right into an incoming shot. Depending on how the battle with the enemy armor is going, you can even contribute a launcher shot.

    -Run Thermal Optics and Belt Feeder. The gunner's first priority is to eliminate infantry threatening your vehicle that the driver either doesn't see, can't hit, or is too preoccupied to deal with. Thermal will make them stick out like a sore thumb amongst foliage or rubble, and Belt Feeder lets you fire for longer and cool down faster. Another big advantage to thermal: it lights up AT Mines, which will cripple or outright destroy you.

    -Burst fire the turret at longer ranges. The tank turret has spread like any other weapon which will make ranged shots more difficult. Fire in 3-4 round bursts if you're trying to hit someone far away or someone peeking over cover.

    -Don't shoot at what you can't hit. Firing the MG puts your tank on radar for everyone and makes a lot of noise. In battles against other armor, the element of surprise can be crucial to winning a 1v1. This is especially true regarding enemy aircraft: do not spray at helicopters or jets off in the distance, you don't want to get their attention. If a chopper or jet is engaging you however, light them up. The MG does very respectable damage to aircraft, and if they get greedy you can score a disable or better.

    -Spot, spot, spot. Every person you engage, spot them as you start shooting. Jet or chopper across the map? Spot them. Infantry popping up on your thermal somewhere out of range? Spot them. AT mines ahead? Spot them. You don't have to worry about driving, so you have no excuse not to be spotting everything humanly possible. Most importantly it helps your driver's awareness so he can get first shot in a duel or blow a wall off a building where launchers are posted up.

    -When cruising or especially when capturing a point, look in a different direction than your driver. 2 sets of eyes is better than 1. The HUD will show which direction your driver is looking. This is easier on PC where you can whip the turret around and high precise sensitivity. You'll see things your driver won't and can spot for him or your team, or save yourselves from the C4 guy rushing out from his hiding place.

    i was playing and every time i played i was kicked from the server because there is "vip slots" seriosly

    i hate that,is there a server with no vip slots?
