    Attack Helis in BF4... constant lock on from AA?

    Hey all,

    I recently downloaded BF4 in preparation for BF2042. I've been playing BF since the beta of BF3, which is still my golden game. Except for BF4. Well, I played it a little bit, but it ran like shit on the 360 so I decided to skip it.

    Back in the day, helos were my thing, both Attack, Scout, and transport. I just love flying and love having a role to play. I know helos were a bit strong in BF3, but after playing BF4, I feel like they took it in the complete opposite direction, to the point they're almost useless. There are a few maps with cover that you can kind of play on and do well (if 24/3 is "doing well"), but for the most part, I feel like I'm playing, "dodge AA simulator." I can't as much as fly up without getting pelted by some vehicle's cannon, getting target locked, or even vehicle rammed.

    Doing a bit of reading, and it seems that that's been the general theme for flying helicopters on BF4, and that unless the enemy team is generally apathetic, that they're effectively worthless.

    I know people have strong feelings about air platforms, often because they feel like they can't do anything about them, but it really does feel like in BF4, they gave everyone and their mom something to "deal with" air platforms, and now it's just death by a thousand cuts.

    I'm hoping that 2042 can strike a balance in between.

    Help! Recently upgraded my rig and have been doin fresh downloads of the game. Punk buster keeps kicking me out. I’ve tried lots of things and can’t get it to work. I’ve let it through the firewall. Added the game to punkbuster. Not sure what to try next
