    IIRC in BF1 you could spam R1/Q and you would instantly spot everything, but in this game i cant, i spam R1 and people dont get spotted half the time, or maybe it takes a long time, and i die a lot bc of it, so i was wondering whether or not there is a cool down to the spot button since i hear a wierd noise while spamming and i heard something like that once. Worst part is that i thought you should spam bc i heard lots of people complaining about doritos saying "omg this game is so ez you just spam q and click"

    Support Playstyle Guide

    Support has always been the class i play the least, even though i don't dislike it at all, and in BF4, its no different, I've already maxed assault and engineer, and im just a few levels up in support, (im a new player), and yesterday while playing with the type 88 i noticed that even though i could perfectly control the recoil even up to 30 or so meters and stay on target, i was barely hitting any shots. This made me do some research and apparently if you move even the slightest while shooting with an LMG your spread will increase a lot, even if the base spread increase per shot if standard, and i also heard that the max spread is huge, which is counter intuitive because LMGs are supposed to be able to maintain some accuracy even if you hold down the trigger. So to counter this i thought i should stand completely still and tap fire unless im at shotgun range, which brings me to my question. Am i correct with this? Which other tips should i know about LMGs, for example what guns and attachments are good, general support class tips and what playstyle i should adopt, and any tips you consider i could use. Thanks in advance.

    Owning normal BF4 on Origin, want to use Premium via Steam

    Hello Community,

    i need advice with the following issue. I bought BF4 on Origin when it was released and I didnt buy Premium. Now i want to play again and i saw that Premium is on sale for just 10€ on Steam. So i bought it and Steam want to install the game completely new instead of just adding the DLC Content to my already via Origin installed game. Can i get around this? I dont want to completely reinstall over Steam since I have slow Internet and a bad PC and it would take me +8 hours to do that.
