| Best weapons for engineer and recon class? Posted: 04 Dec 2020 07:00 PM PST So, I got the game for free yesterday from twitch prime, and the last time I played bf3 was on my old PS3 in 2014 or so, and well, I cant remember well which weapons were the best ones and that stuff, like, I recall there was a bolt rifle that almost always oneshoted, and also I remember that there was like 1 good weapon for long distance in engineer class and other 2 great for close range (not much accurate but would kill really quick) Also, I wanted to know... Is it worth to use javelin and igla? because by now I could only land 1 hit out of 15 from igla since helis and jets just use the tactical smoke stuff :P and I guess there wont be difference with tank and javelin. So, if you can tell me that data and maybe some advices if you wish for an noob veteran, I would be thankful haha [link] [comments] | ||

| Stuck at joining server and waiting for game to exit Posted: 04 Dec 2020 03:41 PM PST Decided to hop back on tonight seeing as it's free on prime and theres plenty of new faces, last played it a month or 2 ago and it worked fine, now it doesn't. Nothing in my hardware or software setup has changed. Tried everything i could find, i've reinstalled the game and origin, i tried firefox, chrome, opera and edge, same thing every time, stuck on joining server for half an hour then stuck on waiting for game to exit for another half hour (even though every bf3, origin, and ea related task has been terminated) This fucking game is plagued by battlelog since beta, it was shit then and it's still shit now. I would love to meet the windowlicker who thought it was a great idea to implement and shove the fucking intel atom servers they run this shit on up his hole. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 04 Dec 2020 10:45 AM PST Now let me be clear I don't hate assault class. I am literally tired of seeing them to the point that if i rented a server on PS3 the rules would be max 4 assault players per team and PDWs and shotguns only allowed on recon. Any discrepancy from that is a warning then kick and then ban + putting their GT on a list because when you get banned after the server runs out then you're unbanned until next offence. I have 1100 hours in this game and after i play like 3 days in a row i get burned out and fire up Skyrim or whatever. Right now I'm max level trying to get some points in support because I only have 12 service stars (assault 15, engineer 18, recon 16) and i play on PS3 so using support in conquest is not really an option. Also I limit myself on only using PDWs and shotguns on recon because every other class has more than capable weapons for any range. Every time I turn on the game I do a warm up round on Noshahr. Out of 24 players on console and 12 on each team every single round AT LEAST 6 of them are assaults. Then as if that wasn't enough many of them use UMP and medic bag. Now try to kill better player that hops around with UMP and 2 of his buddies tagging along just reviving each other. And there I am using RPK, M27, L86 and MG36 with extended mags and claymores to get some kills with them. Say whatever you want about BF1 or BF5 but they don't have a class that is outright better then any other because in BF1 medics use semi auto rifles and in BF5 SMGs Oh and before anyone starts insulting me this is the link to my stats https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/WeetzCRo96/stats/1527147433/ps3/ [link] [comments] | ||
