I contacted EA support regarding the annoyance of being forced to launch through battlelog, however they were unable to help and stated 'I think you need to use Battlelog'. | Posted: 15 Oct 2020 11:48 PM PDT Animations in Battlefield 5 are a mixed bag to say the least. At times it can be really immersive but most times it's a mess. Everything in Battlefield 5 requires a animation and it hurts gameplay. They added all these animations like a mil sim but then have everyone running fast and sliding around like on ice. Sliding should be a tactic to slide into cover but the lack of cool down you see non stop sliding with sliding animations playing uphill, sideways, changing directions mid slide and more. It makes the game look absurd. The next Battlefield also must abandon all perks to allow faster movement. It makes everything inconsistent expecially gun play. Trying to develop muscle memory shooting when you have firefights so inconsistent with character speeds is very hard and why I think many players struggle. Add all the Animations on top of that and it's a recipe for disaster. I would say have a mix of Battlefield 3 and 4 mostly but keep vaulting. Keep things simple yet smooth. Keep sliding but add a big cool down similar to Battlefield 1 or have a Stamina meter. [link] [comments] | ||

You must be familiar with that page, however I'm not and when I launched the game yesterday it launched the game itself not that webpage on chrome. The thing is, I don't want to use that, I just want to launch the game and search for servers there! Please help, I've been trying to get some info about the battlelog from 2-3 years old posts but non of them helped. Is there a way to disable this? | Battlefield 4 opening Battlelog instead of the in-game server browser. Posted: 15 Oct 2020 06:19 PM PDT I have recently purchased Battlefield 4 through steam while it was on sale. And over the course of playing it the past few days, I've been able to use the in-game server browser. But suddenly today, I was booted to Battlelog after trying to launch the game. I've tried for a while scouring forums and threads online if there was any sort of solution but couldn't find a working solution. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling origin to force and update, and launching the game through the .exe from the files as administrator, but no matter what it takes me back to Battlelog. I dislike using a browser as opposed to scrolling through the game's main menus. I don't know what happened but was wondering if any kind souls could help me launch through Origin again.
