    New Battlefield players who started with either BF4, BF1, or BFV - would you consider purchasing BF3 Remastered if there was such a thing?

    For those of you who started playing Battlefield when BF4, BF1, or BFV was released (i.e. from 2013 onwards), would you consider purchasing BF3 Remastered if there was such a thing:

    • if it came out in 2020;
    • if it came out in in 2021 (if that is the next instalment); or
    • Consider purchasing BF6 in 2021 instead (most likely scenario for a new Battlefield in 2021, and whether there is or isn't a BF3 Remastered in 2020)?

    I seen the steam news and every twitter / youtube comment is just talking about BF4 / BF3 being the best ones and I tried my hardest to find one comment about BF2 but none...

    IMO BF2 was the most fun, probably cause I played when I was a teen, but all my best memories are from that game. The wake island cruiser ship, and having the enemy team sweeping the deck with a jet as we spawned, all the funny jet tricks, the helicopters doing that spin in a circle thing owning bases. I loved the transportation helis where you loaded up your whole team. There were clans and guilds, I use to be a master of the medkit bunnyhop guy lol OH and the fricken commander speaking to squad leaders, then squad leaders speaking to squads, was pretty neat... the maps were classic kirkland, wake island, and others. There was innovative movie making, mods, someone created a fricken star wars space mode for BF2 or was it BF 2143 I forgot but that was nuts...

    I havent played BF2 in forever though. I played all the latest games too like all of you cause that's where all the actions at, maybe these are just "good old day memorys" and the new games are way better but I just wanted to be nostalgic for a bit lol

    Does no one else remember that the leaker who accurately predicted both BF1 and BFV has already made a BF6 prediction?

    Does anyone remember that at the time the leaker released details of BFV months in advance, he said another DICE studio had already begun work on another Battlefield game. He said that game was a modern combat, Bad Company branded Battlefield game that spans different eras of the Cold War.

    His BF1 and BFV prediction videos were up on a youtube for a long time. They might still be there, but I can't remember the channel name.

    BF3 Famas vs USAS-12 Frag Rounds

    First time poster here and on mobile

    Anyone else remember back in Battlefield 3 how broken the FAMAS and USAS-12 Frag rounds were or am I remembering wrong? It was so unbalanced but I loved it 😂. Anyone know why this was allowed and if they enjoyed it as much as I did? It's fun looking back on Operation Metro and remembering the chaos of facing these weapons at their primes.

    BF3 is one of my favorite Battlefield games... yet I honestly don't know if I would get a BF3 Remaster.

    I didn't get BF5 so I've been saying "I can't wait to get the next BF game!" but If BF3 Remastered is the next, I may not.

    Loved the game, got every unlock, heck I even was one of the first few non-DICE employees to get the M1911 S-TAC service star.... but for me it doesn't seem that old enough to warrant a remaster. I would TOTALLY be ok with:

    • A new, modern Battlefield game that uses BF3 as inspiration
    • Adding a chunk of BF3 maps into the next BF
    • Adding a remastered SP campaign + co-op missions as a special bonus into the next BF game.

    but a full on remaster? I don't know.... Anyone else feel the same way?

    I mean, I'd have to assume a new BF OTHER than BF3 would still be getting made too, and this might just be a hold me over, and if so fair enough. Just curious as to what others thing, considering the rumor of a BF3 remaster has been floating around.
