    Some butt hurt admin for the "BadBoys HardCore SerVer~" banned me after I killed him with the attack plane when he was camping in the spawn with the AA. Normally I wouldn't care but there are so few Hardcore servers out there to play in. If any one who is an admin in that server please unban me. My PSN name is the same as my Reddit name.

    Hey all,

    I've been playing Battlefield 4 on my PS4 since launch and come back to it endlessly since it still holds up and is a lot of fun. I've been getting my PC together over the quarantine and want to continue the Battlefield 4 experience on the master race but am not sure where to buy the game from.

    From what I understand, if I buy on Steam (which currently has it on sale for $9.99 for Premium) I would still have to go through Origin and then Battlelog on a browser to get on an active server. If this is the case, would it be simpler to buy it on Origin? If so, I can buy it via Fanatical for $11.99 (Premium), so not much of a difference, but if it would be easier to get online then I wouldn't really mind.

    What is the consensus on which version is superior?

    Best weapons?

    What are best weapons in each class and what are best in certain situations (cqb, medium range, long range, all around)? And what are best attachments?

    Also my current favorites are AK12 and SAR (maybe even AN94) (AR's and because of good recoil and I have suppressor on AK12)

    Carbines: Groza-1 (because I haven't got any other carbines)

    Other weapon classes I don't use because I'm AR kind of guy

    So right now steam is having a discount for all battlefield game and I was wondering does bf4 still have any asia server that still active and have alot of ppl playing? Cuz i dont wanna buy and play a game with a dead community in asia server

    Mil-sim servers on Xbox?

    I recently started playing battlefield 4 on Xbox again, but I'm just curious if there are any mil-sim servers. I have a pc and tried to play squad but sadly my cpu can't handle it (I have an fix-9590) but I was really hoping there were some mil-sim servers to fill that void.

    Battlefield 1 and V lost the magic...

    Forgive me if this subject has been done to death but I've been going back and playing BF 3 and 4 after years of primarily playing 1 and V recently and the overall feeling of playing the older games was just so much better to me. It's hard to put it into words exactly why this is so bear with me but the older installments of BF just had this incredibly satisfying gameplay loop that was so much more fun and distinct than the newer games. Again, I can't exactly put my finger on what it is that made it feel so much better to play the older games. Maybe it's gun play or bullet mechanics etc. But it the newer games (especially V) feel a bit awkward to control in the same way Battlefront 2 does.

    There are a few things I can think of that contribute to this feeling. Some core mechanics that made BF special to me were totally thrown out in BF 1 and V. The weapon customization and progression systems in BF4 were absolutely perfect. Unlock a weapon, try it out, play around with different equipment until you find the perfect setup. To be fair I know this system could have been difficult to implement in games set in WWI and WWII but the system they came up with was just way less fun. Also the skin system for vehicles, soldiers, and weapons in BF 4 were a million times more rewarding to unlock and use. What do you guys think? Am I crazy?
