    Can’t find decent servers/matches in any Battlefield (PC)

    So me and my friend were looking to start playing battlefield again. I used to play a lot on ps4 but haven't played for years. We both got Origin Access so it seemed like a no brainer to play some battlefield. We tried Battlefield 4, Battlefield 1, and Battlefield 5. All of the quick play options sent us to empty servers (I've seen that that's not uncommon), but even looking for servers in the browser it's all either 150+ ping on the other side of the world or strange custom servers with very different settings. That being said there were only about 10-15 servers on there at any given time. We're on west coast and tried to play at 7pm PST on a Thursday and 9pm PST on Saturday. Is there anything I'm missing or is the regular Battlefield experience dead?

    So on ultra when I get into a firefight my fps drops down to 50 from 70. On low settings with everything minimum or turned off I get roughly 70-100 fps. This is with Vsync off and all my drivers are up to date. Isn't this kinda low?

    Am I the only one who doesn't care about customization?

    Right now, it seems like the consensus among the battlefield community is that everyone longs for the Bf4-esque customization. But honestly, is customization really that crucial? Some of the best Battlefield games, specifically BF2 and BC2, hardly had any customization at all, yet those games are still alive to this day. How much of a difference to gameplay can having 80 different barrels, foregrips, guns, and sidearms really make to the gameplay? If play for a long time and unlock tons of weapon skins, is anyone really going to care? I guarantee you, if I were to were to change the foregrip and barrel on your favorite set-ups, then you wouldn't even notice the difference in gameplay.

    Character customization is where it becomes problematic, especially in BFV. In a team-based game, the teams need to be easily distinguishable from each other. If you're going to add classes, there needs to be consistency in the character models. Team fortress got around this by making everyone either red or blue. But DICE had the bright idea to give everyone character customization. So now, it's just about impossible to tell friend from foe without the HUD. It's a real shame because playing Battlefield without the HUD is a great experience.

    If you ask me, customization is just a gimmick to get people to buy battlepacks. The community needs to let-go of it and focus on the gameplay instead
