    I've played BF1. I enjoy it but I find it lacking in destruction, vehicles, snow, water, open maps and all map (base + DLC) servers. BFV looks like it offers more in these categories. Plus, the gunplay looks more fluid. So, why do people dislike it so much?

    Hello. I am new to the battlefield franchise as it's on sale on steam. I do not care about 100% historical accuracy. I mostly want to have fun. I also want a game that is most active and will probably stay active for a while. As of right now I'm leaning towards bf5 just because I have a friend who has it, it's newer, and you don't have to pay for maps. However, I am still open to bf1 because I've heard it's more atmospheric and still popular. I know that people say bf4 is best, however I do not really want a futuristic game.

    [Battlefield 1] Cant Find A Specific Server? This Might Be Why!

    Hello everyone,

    For nearly a year, I was having trouble finding hardcore servers on Battlefield 1. I would reset the filters and add "hardcore" to the search box - "No servers found".

    I tried only adding 200% bullet damage - "No servers found".

    Anytime I tried searching for a server I wanted, I kept getting this error. I thought that they left the server browser broken and lost hope.

    Today I realized what was happening...

    When you press "Reset Filter" in the server browser, everything under "Rules" & "Advanced" are set to their default values instead of being set to nothing. So essentially, it only looks for servers that match the settings under those subcategories.

    In Battlefield 4, resetting the filter removes all rules/advanced settings. For some reason, Battlefield 1 treats "reset filter" as default rules/advanced rules. I have provided screenshots below.

    Unfortunately, hardcore servers are hard to come by filled in this game and I feel like this might be why. Please up-vote so people are aware of this and can hopefully find the servers they wish to play on.

    I finally have the solution for steam buyers of battlefield 3 and the 'waiting for game to exit' bug 1. Open the game through the origin library. This will only launch the campaign 2. When you're at the press enter screen, press start. It'll window the game 3. While the game's open, go to battlelog 4. Do co op or join a server 5. The game will close itself and reboot 6. Click on the windowed game and it will go back to full screen

    If you wanna connect to a different server- 1. Press start. This will again window the game 2. Select another server to join 3. The game will reboot 4. Click on the windowed game and it'll be back to full screen

    If battlelog takes too long to close the game during the 'waiting for game to exit' message, close it yourself by closing the window.

    [BF1] Buying Battlefield 1 from Steam

    Now everyone's dream of playing Battlefield from Steam has come true, I have some questions which bother me. The day Battlefield games were released on Steam, I bought Battlefield V from Origin not realizing the situation. My eyes are on Battlefield 1 now, as it has always been a game I wanted to play. The question is that, if I buy BF1 from Steam, will it get registered to my Origin library? Because R6 Siege has it, I bought it on Steam and I can see that I own R6 from Uplay and launch the game from there. Will I be able to have BF1 on Origin if I buy it on Steam?

    [Help] Now I'm getting an error about syncing cloud storage everytime I try and open Battlefield 3

    I don't understand why EA doesn't want me to play this game lol. Battlefield 4 works fine, Battlefield V works amazing but this game just refuses to work for me. Issues with Punkbuster which I resolved, issues with battlelog which I don't even know if I've solved to tell you the truth and issues with cloud syncing now.
