| Install Punkbuster if you Play PC from Steam Posted: 13 Jun 2020 06:53 AM PDT If you just got BF4 from Steam and are finding you cannot stay connected to multiplayer servers, it's because, apparently, EA has screwed up the installation and Punkbuster is not being installed correctly. To play any multiplayer BF4, PB has to be running. Otherwise within a few minutes of joining you will get kicked. If you join from the BF4 client, you get squat for a message. If you join from Battlelog on the web you get told Punkbuster is unhappy with you. Fix: http://www.evenbalance.com and click the stuff to download and install Punkbuster. I put together some stats from my servers totaling how many times PB has kicked people for not having PB running or having it blocked. Yes, I see you Steam players trying to play. Posted: 13 Jun 2020 01:44 PM PDT After completing the Melee Expert assignment a while ago, I want to go for the melee medal dog tag for the hell of it, and knifing is super satisfying and fun in general and I am almost to my second melee medal. Great way to keep the game fresh too going knife only, I can care less about KDR. I am on PC if that matters, are there any good maps or classes to run as for knifing? | Posted: 13 Jun 2020 01:06 PM PDT Hello, recently I had bought Battlefield 4 on Steam but anytime I joined a server, I would eventually get kicked, I downloaded PB from the website and updated it to try to fix it but I think that I did something wrong... because it still kept kicking me even with it downloaded with BF4 added... I don't know if I downloaded it in the wrong place or something but eventually I got impatient late at night trying to get it to work, eventually I uninstalled it and requested for a refund... but sometime soon I might try to give it another chance, but I just want to know what to do in order to get PunkBuster to work properly. | Battlefield 4 emblem not changing Posted: 13 Jun 2020 12:20 PM PDT Last week I made a new emblem and I did all the steps to making a new and selecting the custom emblem. I then went in game but it was the same emblem I had before so I deleted the previous one to see if that changed anything but to nobody's surprise it didn't. I also did the steps that was told on EA's Answer HQ, but to no avail. Does anyone have any clue what is going on and any fixes or did they discontinue support for custom emblems on BF4?
