    To me a good setting would be a alternate history scenario. Like if the Soviet union and U.S went to war in the sixties. You could have maps set in eastern Europe, Berlin, the Baltic regions, the arctic and even Cuba. The next call of duty is rumored to be set during the cold war so it is not much of a stretch. It gives designers more freedom with the story and it doesn't have to be as historically accurate. Plus nothing like this has really been done before. Anyway that's my two cents.

    [BF1] There's nothing like great communication and squad support to make the gameplay top notch. I see this way more in BF1 than BF5. Shout out to these guys for doing work.

    These posts from Twitter mentioned that the next Battlefield will be on current and next gen consoles. Current gen will get 'feature limited' version. Next gen will get a 'normal' version.

    I think this will split the player base as some features won't be available on current gen consoles, while the next gen had whatever features it may be

    What do you think the feature limited version will contain? The ray tracing on graphics won't be on the limited version for sure.

    Instead of Battlelog for future Battlefield games, they can use Battlefield Tracker (https://battlefieldtracker.com) . It is comprehensive like Battlelog.
