Can't join DLC servers despite having premium

So I have premium and all map packs unlocked but when I try to join a server that requires the DLC packs it says I need to install Karkand. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, repairing the game, but every time I look at the bf3 map packs in origin, they are all installed except for karkand which says it's 'unlocked' but not installed.

Not sure why it isn't installing with the rest of the map packs and there's no way I can tell to install the map packs individually or from the store. Anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: Just noticed when I reinstall the game, it lists all the DLC packs to install alongside bf3 except for karkand. When I go to extra content on bf3 when the game is not installed, it gives me a button to download each individual pack except Karkand, which just gives me a button to read details about it. Really annoying since the DLC servers require all DLC packs to be installed apparently.

**FIXED**

If someone comes across this and wondering how to fix, go to the server browser on battle log, find a server with b2k required, CLOSE ORIGIN, and the click join server and click yes on the plugin popup to open origin.

I've been hearing some problems about multiplayer on BF3 within the Steam reviews... I'm so confused on what the issue is, I've been hearing it's hard to get on multiplayer because of something with Battlelog? I don't entirely understand it but I just wanna know if someone can explain to me what the issue is and if there is a way to fix it. I tried my luck with BF4 but I refunded it because I became impatient trying to set up Punkbuster. Sorry if I sound a bit stupid but I'm just confused.
