Posted: 12 Jun 2020 06:41 AM PDT Been thinking for the last couple of years that I should make a Rush BF4 server, try to build a community etc. I actually used to have that in CSS and it was a blast and i got a lot of experience managing a community from it. im pretty confident that with new tech like discord it is even easier to manage a community, compared to the old phpbb forums. i took the recent release of the game on steam as a sign as i just so happen to have some cash around and i could support a 64 player server for 3-4 months, to see if i can get it rolling (cant bankroll it for life and donations would be needed at some point). Theres a ton of infantry-only rush servers. zero vehicle/air maps only servers. i love rouge transmission, parcel storm, lost islands etc. however when i ask around i get a pretty unanimous "fuck no" regarding interest for such a server. i really dont get it, why not play COD then? they have a larger infantry only playerbase after all. for me BF has always been about vehicles. 24h metro only servers have been popular for like 7 years and i still dont understand why. if you love rush and you hate vehicles, my question to you is why?
