    I'm sorry if this gets asked a lot, but I can't decide which one to buy. BF5 is newer but all I hear about are complaints and bad things, while BF1 gets a lot of praise. This will be my first BF game, so I really need advice. Thanks in advance!

    [BFV] Some design decisions make no sense

    So, DICE gave the medic class access to SMGs so that it would be easier to get up close and support the frontlines. That makes sense, right? Except, they give a lengthy new revive animations which makes it harder to do frontline revives. What gives?

    Then, they give medium range weapons to the assault class, despite most of their kit being only useful at close range. Why?

    Furthermore, the support class now has no belt-fed LMGs, and only MMGs, which stops the support class from being able to effectively provide frontline suppressive fire and encourages camping further away, which just means the frontlines can't get ammo.

    Any other design choices in BFV you think make no sense? These are just the ones I've noticed

    BF1&5 need votekick

    Since the anti-cheating seems non-existent, this seems like a reasonable thing to add until there's a decent system in place. I redownloaded BF1 yesterday and every operation I joined had one blatant cheater on top of the board going 100-5 or more and there's nothing that can be done except reporting (if those even get looked at). In BFV I haven't had so many cheaters consecutively, but I've run into them regardless. Votekick in my opinion would be a good short term solution as they can have an instant effect on a hacker/cheater rather than a report that will take time to look into and will allow the cheater to play and ruin more matches.
