    TTK is killing the Garand [BFV]

    So I stopped playing BFV at the end of November, so I could play some other games and clear my head a little bit, when I came back about 2 days ago, the new December patch had already been dropped and I thought to myself that the TTK changes were not going to be that big... Boy, I was very wrong.

    I love the Garand, it is a very nostalgic weapon for me due to my childhood memories in the old Medal of Honor games. So before this patch I had almost completed the gold plated skin, only missing the Gold Scope. When I came back I started the assignment only to find out that the Garand is now terrible and it is completely beaten at medium range by the Type-100, seriously, DICE introduced the most iconic WW2 gun a year after launch and they ruin it because they want to make the game Christmas Noob friendly. It disgusts me how much hype and hope I had for the game only to see it ruined by some stupid and unnecessary changes.

    Edit: Although I am mainly frustrated by the Garand, it is not the only one, every low-cap semi-auto gun in the game is doomed with this TTK.

    [BF3] Battlelog connection issues when joining from same LAN

    Dear Battlefield players

    Since a couple of weeks ago I've noticed having connection issues when connecting to the same server (more on this later) with more than one device from the same LAN. For all other devices other than the first one to join, a message appears after timing out on "Connecting": "Game disconnected: could not join server.".

    After further investigation and a lot of frustration, it became clear to me that it's not an internal issue (my router and firewall). I first noticed this when it was clear that it only happened on some servers, and after taking a closer look, on German servers. I ran Wireshark and quickly noticed that on all servers that failed, it was a server hosted by the same provider. It's clearly something on their end, as their servers are hosted on multiple IP addresses, but none of them allow extra connections as long as there's one device connected to one of their servers. Even if one is playing BF3 on one of their servers, trying to join a BF4 server by them will not let you connect.

    I've send in a support ticket to the provider with a more detailed explanation and I'm hoping to hear back from them early next week. I post it here on this subreddit to maybe keep others the frustration it is to not being able to join with your friends or family on the same LAN. The only workaround so far is joining a non German server.

    Let me hear your thoughts and if you've been having the same issue lately, please feel free to share your experience!

    I get 800mb-1gb download and upload speeds on speed tests. I always have 10-30ms ping/latency. I shouldn't feel like my character is trying to run against the flow of a rushing river.

    [Other] Ideal battlefield game?

    Mine would be multiplayer only, no campaign or coop, and a combination remaster of all the maps and guns from battlefields 2, 3 and 4. Preferably with a new engine, and some of the new mechanics introduces in the newer titles. That's 80+ maps and 100+ guns to choose from and play 🤯 that's so much replayability. I can only wish.

    Edit: no irnv scopes and better balance, throw in maybe Downtown and a couple of guns from Hardline, and man, that'd be refreshing. So much content. A good setting most enjoy. What everyone wants and nothing of what people don't want. Perfect

    [BF1] A question about the servers

    Hey guys I have a (dumb) question about logging into Battlefield 1 servers on PS4.

    Can I log into the Battlefield 1 servers with my PC Origin account? Its the same EA account right? So I should be able to use the account cross-platform.

    And if I do log in with my old EA account does it still keep me logged in in my PSN account. I know it obviously should but I cant take risks logging out of PSN because I the email linked to the account is no longer valid so I would lose my PSN plus in the progress (at least I think I would, I really dont want to find out the hard way).

    Any answers are appreciated and thanks in advance :)
