[BF] WHY am I so shit at aiming?

ive been playing alot of call of duty and decided to get into the battlefield series, so i was able to buy all the battlefields i could on sale this past week, Battlefield 3-1 and what ive come to discover is that im real shit at aiming for some reason. On call of duty i can aim down the sights fast and kill atleast 4-5 enemies in a single run if im in the groove.....i know not the best but not the worst either, i usually stay in the middle of the leader boards, which im fine with. however, in battlefield, I straight up start to aim and something feels so off that a majority of my kills have been up close spray and prays. i dont understand why it feels so different, i guess the gun kinda still sways when you aim down the sights even with a normal gun? idk if its the recoil but whatever im doing just isnt working chief. Got any pointers?

I haven't played battlefield before. I saw heaps of cool clips from Battlefield 4 and I saw that it was on sale for 9 bucks on G2A. Do people still play it? How long are queue times in general? Cheers
