[BFV] BF4 player here. Is BFV any better?

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 05:57 AM PST

Battlefield 4 was my first Battlefield and I can't tell you how much time I put in to it. For someone who was not really into 1st person shooters, or even good at them, Battlefield 4 changed that for me. I consider it one of the best games I've ever played, and after Battlefield 1 came out I assumed people would stop playing it, so I did as well even though I did not get BF1.

I'd love to get back in to Battlefield. I'm sure most players are playing BFV over BF4 but I wanted to see how people rate the game. Is it just as good if not better than BF4? Is there anything that's different and are the maps any better? I'm thinking of getting it this week. Thanks

    [OTHER] Why don’t I like Battlefield V??

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 06:12 AM PST

I loved battlefield since I first played BF2: Modern Combat on the 360. I played tons of Bad Company 1 and 2, an embarrassing amount of that online-only Battlefield 1943 with the 3 pacific maps (one of the most fun in my opinion) I didn't play too much of BF 3 due to a point in my life when I wasn't gaming much, but when I got back into online gaming was just when BF4 multiplayer was working great. I played it non stop, Then, debatably my favourite, BF1. Had a solid crew of friends that were on all the time, played the hell out of that game. When a new WW2 battlefield was announced I was ecstatic, the trailer was meh, a little confusing... but I was sure I'd like it, I've never played a battlefield that I didn't. Now that it's been out and updated I just don't like playing it. I've tried, my friends don't really play it, I'm not sure if it's the maps? The graphics? The guns/vehicles? I have no idea, but I always go back to either BF4 or BF1. Those games are still both heavily populated, so I know I'm not the only one. Maybe the guns are too similar to BF1? It doesn't have a WW2 feel? I tried with a few friends a couple times this week, and we ended up going back to BF1 (and having a blast). I was wondering if anyone felt the same?? Like you've tried to like it but keep going back to older BF titles? I'm really not sure what it is.

    [BFV] Help on Expectations

So I was thinking about getting this game, and wanted to ask you guys, can someone tell me the main differences to MW, both good and bad if possible?

I started playing fps games with Enemy Territory (Hope some of you remember it) then, after a few years of playing I took a "break* then a friend recommended BO4, so I said, "Why not" and now I have modern warfare.

I actually like the game, as oppose to what most people say on that forum, I get the impression that BF is somewhat a slower pace which, I tend to prefer given I'm not as young as I'd like to.

    Thanks in advance!
