    PLEEAASSEE join my PS4 server. "Carrot's Hardcore Battlegrounds!" I bought the server a few days ago, I strongly believe I have one of the best map rotations in the game. People have favorited the server, so they see the potential. I love this game, and want to build a community!

    As a reward for myself, I was planning on buying a new gaming pc when 2042 arrived. With that game being a flop I instead bought a medium end pc and jumped back into bf4. I don't have any friends playing so I was wondering if anyone would like to squad up! I'm not in any ways good, just looking for some friends to do some casual gaming with and getting some team structure as I'm sort of tired of playing with randoms. HOOAH

    Perpetual "Lost connection to session" on PC

    I would be very appreciative if someone could point me toward a solution for this! I have Battlefield 4 on Windows 11 through EA Play. The single player and test range works fine, but anytime I try to join a server through the server browser, I get a "lost connection to session" message. If it's important, I'm running BF4 off an external SSD drive, with a Thunderbolt 3 connection.

    Here's what I've already tried:

    • Disabling in-game overlays for both Steam and Origin
    • Running Steam, Origin, and BF4 as administrator
    • Running both Steam and Origin in compatibility mode for Windows 8.
    • Restarting computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Steam, Origin, and BF4

    What else could I try? I actually have been having similar issues with all other EA titles I've tried: Titanfall 2, BF3, BF1, and Battlefront. Non-EA games connect to multiplayer fine on the SSD.

    Edit: Steam and Origin are on the internal hard drive. I changed the default library location on Steam and Origin to the SSD before downloading BF4.
