- The reduction to Squad and Coop XP is against EA and DICE's messaging before the games release. It's unfair and should be reverted.

| Question-What did we get with 2042? Posted: 13 Nov 2021 05:41 AM PST I'm enjoying the game, don't get me wrong, but the sacrifice of a campaign and BR mode (which I don't care BR sucks in my opinion) I was expecting like a load of content like battlefield 4. So what I gather here is there are 2 LMG's, a couple assault rifles, smg's and shotguns. So is there like more guns coming? Cause like battlefield 4 had countless guns in it. Like are they going to be released after the 7 day early access? Is there none coming? Are we just relying on the portal mode to fill in for the 2042 stuff? | Posted: 12 Nov 2021 09:19 PM PST I get that they want to combat the XP farming in Portal. I guess it makes sense to limit how much XP you can gain there per day with certain game setups. However, it's ridiculous they didn't see that coming. But that's besides the point... The Squad and Coop XP being reduced is unfair and borderline false advertising. The whole reason me and 2 of my friends bought the game was for this type of gameplay that was promised before release. They said you progress at the same rate no matter what mode you played. Turns out they didn't even take 24 hours to change their mind on that. Seriously? Not everyone wants to play in sweaty MP matches all the time. I personally don't mind some MP, however my two friends are both late 40s, early 50s, so they aren't into it that much. Just let us enjoy the game at the same pace as everyone else You know, like you promised during your marketing push. [link] [comments] | ||

Did the actors know they were playing as soldiers dying and fighting for their life? I know it's minor compared to all the other issues in the game but it just kills immersion for me. Anyone else?
