Hey there! I saw a lot of people on the Internet that don't like how they designed the scoreboard (I don't like it either). Because I actually work as a UI/UX Designer and I like doing this kind of stuff, I did a quick and dirty re-design of the scoreboard. I've tried my best to include the conceptual ideas of the original. Please ignore the low quality of the icons as I just screenshotted them. For the kills, I created a new icon (not perfect, but I wanted a better differentiation). Also, ignore the scores, they are different from one another, I noticed this too late. I hope you like it! I would love to hear your thoughts on this, don't hold back

Edit: If you comment your feedback, I'm sorry I can't answer directly. The mods would have to accept every comment because my account is too young. But please go for it and comment your thoughts and I will answer you in about 2 days! I already see a LOT of great feedback for further improvements. I will upload an updated version (link will be posted here). I appreciate the support!

Edit 2: Alright friends, I've updated the scoreboard with your current feedback and uploaded it here https://imgur.com/a/qU1lIpa . Here's what I've changed:

Added player position to the bottom of your teams scoreboard (will disappear if you move into Top 25, reappear if your on a lower position)
Replaced "Defenses" tile with "Score" and moved it next to "Revives"
Added Score (same position as in older games)
Adjusted the height of "Specialists connected" tile

Since the original Bad Company, your XP has been your score and your score has been your XP. Every single thing you did was important. Giving people stockpiles of ammo? Here's a stockpile of XP. Just heal the crap out of 10 people with your medic bag? Here's a tsunami of more XP and some ribbons. Repairing that tank or chopper? We need more people like you. Here's a mountain of XP with a gold core. Did you just spot that annoying sniping bastard in a bush so the chopper could get him? Grab this assist and spotter ribbon.

Everything you did was rewarded. Even in BATTLEFIELD MODERN COMBAT ON CONSOLES.

Now? In the new game?

Did you just save 5 people with your medic bag who were 1 HP? Here's TWENTY FIVE XP. TWENTY. FIVE. IT DOESN'T SCALE WITH HOW MUCH HEALING YOU DO ANYMORE! And neither does Falk's medical stims!

It's the same with ammo too. Repairing? Nothing. Occasional ribbon. Kills, half of what they used to be, on par with ASSISTS. (Which I agree with only if you're the driver of a vehicle or do more damage to the person.) Damage to vehicles? NOTHING, and NO way of knowing how much damage you're doing to it!

This is horrible! We used to be rewarded for helping our team. ASSISTS are celebrated more than KILLS AND POINT CAPTURES! WHY! I did 3k healing during a really long game and I was overshadowed by ASSISTS! Healing and ammo be damned! Screw me for helping my team.

If you want the old XP system back then please share this with DICE. I feel no sense of progression. Just like with the new Halo. I feel like I'm achieving nothing by helping my team or getting an absurd amount of kills. I feel like as a team player - I don't matter anymore.
