Jet dogfighting is fucking boring. Posted: 31 Oct 2021 09:42 AM PDT What is the point in engaging in a 15 minute "who's the best at flying in circles" just to have your enemy jump out at the last second. Jet combat is unbelievably lame in battlefield. [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Oct 2021 12:59 PM PDT Hello I'm new to the group so idk if I can really post this but who wants to run with me? I'm new to multiplayer on Xbox but I was like a level 63 or so on PS4 back when the game was newish. I'm active duty in the Marine Corps so I won't be on very much unless it's the weekend or around 6:00 PM. [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Oct 2021 04:34 PM PDT I started playing Battlefield 3 when I was like 9 years old, and had the same words from a cousin saying things like "it's way better than Cod, this kind of things doesn't happen in cod right (2 jets colliding mid-air and falling in front of you)" this kind of things made my mind blow up and questions like, is this game even real? popping into my head. Making me convince my parents to buy it for me on Christmas, until I finally got it, the best day ever. Through my time in Battlefield 3, I remember having games on Noshar Canals or Caspian Border that was 3 hours of me competing against my cousin of who ended up getting the first spot, literally no comments for 3 hours, you could feel the heavy breathing and sweetness from each other, not exaggerating, until one day I felt a special affection for air vehicles and air combat in general. I'm from Venezuela and I remember one day piloting the f-16 on Caspian border, and a guy from Venezuela was on my lobby piloting the other jet available on my team. I was surprised at how he managed to pilot that thing incredibly and destroy the enemy team and from the same nation that it was usually hard to find. I texted him and became a really good friend with him, he one day introduced me to his friends and clan, and with time making it to the team. At only 11 years old I was piloting the Vyper or Havoc for the number 1 team in Venezuela without even knowing it. People like best tank, jet players in America were in the same team as me. I continue playing clan battles with them, basically competitive and it was truly a superb experience, something that will stay on my heart forever. The team transferred smoothly to Battlefield 4, and it was even better, the team was a family and all of them were like 25-30years old it was pretty funny because they treated me like a son. When BF1 was released I eventually moved on and they stayed on BF4 because they didn't really like BF1. I played BF1 merely for fun with my cousin, we grind and it was fun but not as fun as it used to be, of course, I don't know if there's any "vet" in here that relates with me, but ever since BF1 things have been a little off, and battlefield just stops feeling the same. I don't know if It was due to age or anything but I don't know honestly. 4 years ago I moved to PC where I completely forgot about battlefield, until one day that one of my best friends from school told me that Battlefield 4 was getting sold for $5 on origins, instantly making the Star Wars Luke theme sound on my head with all the memories, telling him to get it and grind our assess off. Getting it on pc was a different ride and felt like I used to be or even better. Had to relearn how to pilot a helicopter again with M&K and at the same time teach my best friend how to be an incredible gunner. So I spent like 2 years playing BF4 again from 0 and one of the best things ever! Now restating the fact that battlefield since the beginning of BF1 things has been a little off and not hanging me up to it. Now I'm 18 and time has passed faster than expected, I really miss the old days. A year ago I received a message on battle log from the clan leader and a really good friend, saying "omg greenluis!!(my username) you are probably a old ass dude by now hahah hope everything is going good with your life" reading it while crying out loud lol. Now I will not be buying BF2042 if my cousin is not down to buying it and grinding with me again. Hope you guys enjoy my little story and can relate a little :) [link] [comments]
