    Battlefield 2042 LAPTOP system requirements?

    I have a Lenovo Y740 with an RTX2080-MaxQ, an [i7-9750H@2.6ghz](mailto:i7-9750H@2.6ghz), and 16gb of RAM.

    Im trying to decide whether or not I should buy a PS5 to play this, although I dont have enough disposable cash to get a TV/monitor that would do the PS5 justice. I have a 144hz screen on my laptop, and I really would like to enjoy a higher framerate on the laptop rather than buying a ps5 and playing the game on an older TV.

    I would like to run the game on medium-high settings. I don't mind having the laptop sound like a hurricane while it roasts the keyboard. Is it reasonable to assume Ill be able to run the game at medium-high settings around say, 100fps? Do you think that is asking too much of my fairly-nice-for-2019-laptop? Do you think that thermal throttling will adversely affect my experience? I know that we are working with limited information regarding the requirements and optimization of the game. I'm just wondering what you folks have to say about the matter. Most of the posts Ive seen about the system requirements are in regards to middle-of-the-road gaming PCs.
