    two things to remember. 1: the animation for most items like the soflam is the same as C4. 2: always go down with your vehicle

    Upon the release of the Battlefield 2042 trailer, we have decided to play Battlefield 4 until the new title's release. Battlefield is now a new and ever growing division in our community. We've got a BF4 server that has a cap of 64 players and runs at 60hz, based in Europe. We have a lot of existing members who are going to play 2042 at release. As our game division grows, we will be selecting new staff members and hosting new events for Battlefield.

    Why is the movement system horrible?

    Everything sticks to you. Even a small branch that got blown up to pieces, blocks you. I didn't buy BFV so I don't know how BF2042 will be but I hope it's not as terrible as BF4. I always get stuck on the ramps in Flood Zone.

    I know BF4 was buggy shit at the release but I was told it was fixed and at every corner I come across a bug that should have been fixed years ago. Movement system is the worst offender by far, followed closely by the atrocious UI.

    BF5 player who is giving 4 a go. How to make it more fun, struggling rn

    As above I'm a top BF5 player who has decided to give 4 ago as preparing myself for 2042. Unfortunately I'm struggling to have fun. Like all games lots of the lobbies are filled with skilled players I get that it's just few things feel off.

    I mainly play Conquest so I've heard this could be the reason for some of these issues.

    Movement feels really sluggish to me and going prone takes too long.

    Campers. I know it's a battlefield game but man I swear half the players in the lobby set up on a building for the whole match and never move anywhere else making middle flags super hard to cap

    Vehicles seem crazy powerful in this game. I get it semi futuristic but some tanks I've seen drive faster then bikes and nail you and helis gun down anyone in the open going for flags etc.

    Hit detection seems really iffy at times. Can unload into enemies and seem to take forever to kill them while you get dropped fast. Not sure what the TTK is like?.

    So any tips. Not sure how much stuff I've said people will agree or disagree with but just looking to have some fun and get used to it before 2042.

    I recently bought an Xbox series controller for my pc and some games work fine with it but in battlefield 4 1 and 5 all have the buttons out of place (u walk with the right joystick and jump with d pad down button

    Losing connection to EA Online :-(

    Hi guys, I'm after a bit of advice; I can only play on BF4 for a few minutes before I get kicked off for losing connection to the EA servers. I try to reconnect but it fails - I have to quit and go back in to get back on, but then can only play for a few more minutes before being kicked again.

    I'm using Virgin Media (in the UK), have an otherwise rock solid fast internet connection with no drop outs, and have a PC that can play it with no problem; I don't get what's happening.

    Anyone have any advice (please!)?
