    After I decided to come back to the Battlefield series after a 15 year break a few months ago I started looking at where to start. After BF5 had gotten mixed review I decided to start with Battlefield 1. Battlefield 4, beeing from 2013, I just deemed "too old". After a 30 hour or so in BF1 I gave BF5 a go but just couldnt get in to it. It just didnt feel right for some reason and I didnt have any fun. And I didnt think it looked much better than 1 to be honest. Higher res textures sure but the atmosphere wasnt there. After beeing annoying with a few things in BF1 I began to realize that a lot of players still played BF4. The talk was always "Yeah the graphics are worse but the game is fun" kinda deal. Yesterday I downloaded it and booted it up. To my surprise it looked GREAT. I mean once again the textures might not be BF5 level but for a game that came out 8 years ago and looks this good is nothing short of astounding. I was in awe in how good it looked. Its hard to compare to BF1 and BF5 because the setting is so different. If a game came out in 2021 and looked like this I wouldnt have a problem with it at all. In fact, a lot of games that comes out today doesnt look this good.

    So far I´m having fun and I´m looking forward to probably spending my hype days until BF2024 in BF4 instead of BF1 or BF5

    Hello,

    I'm new to Battlefield 4 and I'm loving it so far but I noticed that most of the times the weapon is not shooting where I'm aiming. I love sniping and I figured that you gotta stand still to shoot accurate and I figured that out, but do I need to stand still with ARs too to shoot accurately? I was playing BF1 and BF5 and the automatic rifles are shooting where you aim even with ADS movement. Same with CoD MW where you aim there you shoot so can someone tell me the secret how to shoot accurately with ARs? I was googling about movement and accuracy in BF4 but I haven't found a single article. I preordered the new BF and I never played modern Battlefield game so I want to get the feel of it :)

    Help: I have no sound on PC when launching BF4

    So I just moved and finally got around to setting up my pc. I've played many hours on BF4 PC without any issues. Now I when I launch the game, I hear nothing from the game or anything else on my PC. It works right after I close the game. Has anyone else experienced this? I've already reinstalled the game and my drivers are all updated. Any help would be appreciated because I really want to play again.

    Edit: I'm using the Wireless Arctis 7 Headphones

    FWIW - Rented XBox B4 server which you'll never be able to see

    With the popularity of BF4 exploding I rented a BF4 server for 1 week as a "thank you" to the community I've enjoyed being a part since BF3 on Xbox 360. However, it never shows up in the server browser list unless someone has actually joined the server. I've searched forums to no avail and contacted EA on how to fix this with no luck. I also tried uploading a custom server banner and followed instructions on Battlelog, but it never appears either. Anyways, the server name is "Adventures with Rod". I'm not sure if others can ever find it to join - its setup in North America as normal Conquest server running classic conquest maps. Seems like a waste of $ if no one is ever able to find the server to join. Hope someone is able to use the server and enjoy the game!

    How in the hell do you get any AA/AT kills?

    So I'm trying to unlock the MP7 that requires me to kill a plane and get a few antivehicle medals.

    I've been playing an engineer on conquest non-stop for the past 2 days in my spare time. Choppers simply flare every time or dodge, tanks seem to require 5 missiles while they get chain repaired. Its a bit frustrating.

    Is there some trick Im missing?
