    (out of the ones originally listed) Almost a week ago I did a chain of posts where everyone would vote on their favourite title out of 6 listed those being Battlefield 2142, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V. And after 24 hours of each poll being up I posted the same poll excluding the battlefield title that got the least amount of votes the first to go was Battlefield: 2142, then Battlefield V, then Battlefield: Bad Company 2, then Battlefield 1 and finally Battlefield 3 which makes Battlefield 4 the winner

    Possibility of Titan Mode in Battlefield 6 or Battlefield 7

    To review, Battlefield 4 takes place in modern day 2020s. The campaign of BF4 itself took place starting in 2020 (thus the war is called "War of 2020"), with our last known story in the timeline of Battlefield's fictional universe ending with Final Stand.

    In Final Stand, we not only see references to the Pan-Asian Coalition and the EU (which are the two factions in Battlefield 2142), the entire expansion pack consists of futuristic weapons and design drawings for mechs, hovertanks, etc. While not entirely clear exactly what year Final Stand takes place, I estimate it takes place sometime during the mid 2020s. The most important part of Final Stand however, is the map Hangar 21, where we see for ourselves a Titan being built. That means in the Battlefield universe, Russia already has the technology to build a prototype Titan, and is physically building one in the mid 2020s.

    With Battlefield 2021 there are two possibilities :

    1) Battlefield 2021 (if leaks are true, simply called Battlefield) is a reboot of Battlefield 3 and 4 set in the near future, and will be a prequel to an upcoming Battlefield 2143 type game that will be released after Battlefield 2021.

    2) Battlefield 2021 will continue the story from Battlefield 4's universe, and will already feature a Titan mode either in the base game or in a future expansion pack.

    Fans have been asking for BF2143 for a while. Titan mode is hands down the best game mode in the entire franchise, nothing has really come close to what Titan mode offered. Naval Strike did not do 2142's Titan mode justice because you couldn't move the carrier, nor were carriers equipped with drop pods, artillery turrets, or fly in the sky. The vast majority of easter eggs pointed towards Battlefield 2143 (hell Final Stand was a prequel for BF2143) but with Call of Duty getting massive backlash from Infinite Warfare at the time, I think DICE / EA shelved the development of BF2143 and decided to go with WWI and WWII, until the market was ready for a futuristic Battlefield game.

    While fans of BF2142 like myself has had to wait years for a return back to near-future / future setting, I think it all worked out in the end. Personally I think #1 is highly likely given the leaks of BF2021 being a reboot of the franchise. They will have had time to organize the lore and timeline of the new Battlefield universe after experimenting with the story a bit in Battlefield 4 and with Final Stand, and now that they've had a few years they can have a natural progression from BF2021 introducing the new universe and its story, leading to a more futuristic BF2143 game where much of the technology seen in Final Stand is realized in full.

    For the first time in years I'm actually really excited. To calm down fears of those new to the Battlefield franchise and has never played BF2142, BF2142 didn't have jetpacks or smart munitions or any of that wacky shit. It was Battlefield, but with more futuristic gadgets like cloak for the sniper class (you couldn't use a gun while using cloak), deployable turrets and deployable shields, EMP artillery strikes, drop pods, etc. and all the new gameplay mechanics and tactics that came with these. I still maintain that BF2142 had the deepest gameplay mechanics out of any other Battlefield title to date, because having APC's and Titans equipped with drop pods meant that you could launch yourself behind enemy lines.

    Seems like guerilla marketing has sunk its teeth into my game, and my BF4 and BF1 emblems are the BFV symbol instead of one of the custom ones I try to assign. Is this a glitch, intentional, or is there a simple way around this that I'm missing because I'm a total space cadet?
