    Had server problems last night and gave up after my ping hit 6000, just got on and they're STILL having issues, get to the title screen and it won't connect and when it will I get to the server browser ALL of the servers have horrible connection. EA and Battlefield twitter acknowledges no problems even though down detector is reporting thousands of problems. Ughhhh I just wanna play Battlefieldddd.

    Challenges that unlocks powerful stuff are usually very tedious and just turns the game that's meant to be fun into a grind.

    Take the Gol in BF4 for example, to get that you had to take a jet or helo, fly to the tower of Firestorm or Caspian, and be a sitting duck while you try to get 5 snipes.

    You can easily spend an entire round or two just sitting there, wasting jet after jet just to get a stupid rifle. You are costing the entire team valuable assets for a 100% selfish cause.

    Battlefield V has "season" challenges that are even dumber, where you have to do that sort of challenge in a timely manner. You may only have today to do the challenge, so you can't just push it to tomorrow or some day you actually have time for it. Don't play Battlefield for a living? Tough luck, no fun toys for you!

    Challenges are meant to be fun and unlocked through relatively normal gameplay, the reward for a dumb challenge should never be anything more substantial than cosmetic, otherwise it just feels like something you have to do and ultimately may cause you to abandon the game alltogether.

    Bf4 down?

    I can't seem to connect to the server list on bf4. Every time I refresh it says "No servers yet". Just wanna know if anyone else has this problem. Down detector says there has been a massive spike within the last 4 hours

    Hot take: 3rd person crosshairs for vehicles was a terrible addition

    It gives you such a big advantage that there's just no reason to ever go into 1st person unless you want to handicap yourself and do it for the meme or "immersion".

    Not only that, but it makes the work the designers put into the details of the cockpit go to complete waste since nobody ever sees it.

    BF3 and 4 at least made the 3p crosshair borderline useless so you still had to go into 1st person to get more accurate during battle, making your bum vulnerable to attack.
