| Posted: 28 Nov 2020 10:43 AM PST Like many of you, I've been anticipating battlefield 6 and have been thinking about what would make it a great game and wanted to see what others thought. My idea is this - The next game is just called "Battlefield". It's set in modern day with roughly the same gameplay style as battlefield 4, but also includes: - 128 player games - Operations (BF1 Style) with 128 players - fortifications (Improved from BFV) - Squad point system (improved from BFV) - Weaponsmith system (like modern warfare) - vehicle customization (weaponsmith for vehicles) It will be a live service game with all new maps, but will include free additional maps after launch with both new and classic maps like operation locker and caspian border. Additional weapons, vehicles, and squad reinforcements to be added as well. May later include dlc of Vietnam, Korea, or desert storm. It will be funded after launch with a battle pass system much like apex legends or call of duty with cosmetic options for characters and vehicles. This game will follow Rainbow 6 Siege and Apex legends in that it will not be designed to be battlefield's title for 2-3 years, but rather will be the single Battlefield game for the foreseeable future.
