    No sound... tried everything I cound find, and nothing still.

    Sound was working fine one day, then gone the next. I am at my wits end and hoping someone has more ideas to try. Sound works for ALL other applications (discord, spotify, youtube, other games, etc.).

    I've tried:

    • Reinstalling the game
    • Reinstalling all drivers (manually and w/ automatic tool)
    • Using a different BF4 account
    • Triple checked windows sound settings, the volume mixer, in game settings
    • Tried different sound output (headphones, speakers)
    • Tried the editing of a config file for sound audio quality
    • Tried running BF4 with everything else closed
    • Disabled all enhancements/communication/exclusive control etc. in sound device settings
    • Removed all bluetooth devices from computer
    • Sound in other origin games works
    • Deleted my BF4 folder manually (my documents, the one w/ the settings files)
    • Last Windows update was more than a week before problems started
    • Have not tried smashing my computer
