    Challenge - PC Player Plays With A Controller Terrible Idea !!

    Problem starting game from seemingly nowhere

    I've purchased Battlefield 3 through steam, which I know now was a stupid thing to do, because what is the fucking point of buying a game on steam to have it launch origin to then launch the game. It's the most convoluted, idiotic thing I've seen in a LONG time.

    Anywho... I've been playing for the most part problem free. Until last night. I joined a server, had some lag, wasn't sure if it was server or on my end, but i ended up leaving the server, restarting origin and my pc and when I tried to join again 5min later, I couldn't. Nothing happens.

    I use to join a server by using battlelog, and on chrome. When I clicked play, it would pop up with a message asking me (i'm not 100% exactly what it said) but something along these lines

    "Would you like to launch through steam" or "Is steam allowed to change something on my computer" I know this is very vague and I apologize for that, didn't really pay attention because it worked when i clicked no, then the game would start with no issues. Now the pop up just won't show and nothing happens. I've tried a lot of different things that don't seem to work.

    If anyone has a possible fix for this, it would be greatly apreciated

    PS. Last time I ever buy a game from origin via steam. This has got to be the stupid thing ever :S

    Edit: I'm sorry, forgot to mention I'm on windows 10 if that makes a difference.

    Edit 2: Solved, by the suggestion given ManWithSpicyMemes, thank you my man. I apologize again for not being a reddit wizzard, I don't know if I'm suppose to change the title now to fixed or something similar.
