Having problems with hit registration and laggy recoil

Hey guys does server really matters? I am from India and I mostly play on eu or north American servers in which I have good hit registration, but sometimes the recoil becomes laggy and the hit marker on enemy doesn't show up most of them belong to the same country as server, I really hate that I AM ON XBOX 360 btw
