    [Other] How are the servers for Battlefield 3? (I live in western Europe)

    So I haven't played BF3 in almost a year and I remember the servers being a mixed bag. Sometimes I would find a lot of servers with people in them, were I could connect easily, and other times I would only find dead servers and get poor connections.

    I've been thinking about re-downloading the game and going back to it, is it a good idea, are the servers still in good shape here in Europe?

    [BF 2021] BF Vietnam is a bad idea for a whole game

    BF Vietnam should be a DLC. The Vietnam conflict does not offer much variety to have an entire Battlefield game to be based on it. People will point to CoD Black Ops but remember they didn't stick to Vietnam only, it was more of a CIA during the Vietnam era game. Battlefield maps are huge, they require alot of creativity to make them unique. How do you make 8 or 10 jungle maps feel unique? And what about future content? More jungle maps? I think Vietnam should be a large DLC for the next Battlefield game but not a standalone game. I just dont think theres enough for weapon customization, map locations or even cosmetic which we know will definitely be in the game. That's just my two cents.

    Edit: Some people have mentioned doing a Cold War game where they can focus on multiple locations with Vietnam being one of the major locations. I think this is a fantastic idea and solves the issues I have a Vietnam standalone game. Not my idea, look in the comments for more detail. (clive442 and skatingraccoon are the ones who mentioned it.)

    [BF 2021] Which Battlefield game do you wish is coming in 2021?

    Im hoping for Bad Company 3 because I think DICE needs a game that they can just have fun with and none of the other titles compare to the goofiness and raw fun of BC2. Also if they do the story right, they can finally have a lovable cast of characters that has always been lacking in Battlefield. Also considering its a next gen game, just imagine the destruction.

    Base game is like $5 when on sale but the premium edition is like $25, which seems pricey when compared to BF1 Revolution edition which is only like $6 on sale

    I want my $5 back. I tried everything, from YouTube tutorials to tryhard weapons, but to no avail. I can't compete, I really can't. I feel like this game turned me into FaZe Jev, I really can't. I don't really care tbh about what you say about me, I just don't have the muscle memory of JackFrags or LevelCap, I don't have the capacity to fight these sweaty Hellriegel campers that think they're playing Call of Duty or some crap. How is it that when I'm using the Hellriegel, it's like I'm throwing Made in China BB pellets at the enemy, but when THEY'RE using the Hellriegel, I literally get buttfucked faster than the blink of an eye. I really don't understand this for real, idk how you guys made this look so easy, so I'll give you credit for that

    I have been trying to get a single match for 3 days, the highest number of people get in an EA server was 3, but I need at least 2 on each side to have a match.

    Shame they took away all of the good dialogue in BF4 and onwards. Didn't like their soldiers cursing I guess.

    "I'M GETTING MY SHIT PUSHED IN HERE" Kotaku whined about that being homophobic. Probably one of the reasons they nerfed combat dialogue so much onwards.
