    How do I avoid being chopped to pieces by enemy scout helis as infantry?

    So I'm still new to the game and I had posted about this on the Battlefield subreddit but I didn't get a conclusive answer, so I'm coming here for advice.

    One common trend that always seems to happen in my matches is that 1-2 enemy players will always spawn on the scout helicopters and just go on to get insanely high K:D ratios; I have seen ratios of >40:1.

    Naturally my first instinct is to make sure I have a Stinger or Igla equipped, but are those honestly even viable? If I do manage to get a lock on they just pop smoke (they almost all seem to have smoke equipped over flares), go to their side of the map and wait for their countermeasures to reload before strafing me with pinpoint accuracy.

    I've read a lot of recommendations to use the RPG-7 or SMAW but they're always moving around and engaging someone somewhere that it's borderline impossible to hit them with a dumb-fired rocket.

    I've also gone recon and marked them with the PLD but this doesn't really seem to do much, none of my teammates seem to ever pay attention.

    So I humbly come to you all to ask you if there's anything I can do to combat these players, or if I just have to roll over and take it or leave for another server.

    I play on ps4 and see a bunch of blue background emblems with a white pigeon holding a hotdog or something. I was watching AKA-ART and he was playing someone with the same emblem on PC. Also a bunch of V's or 5's on ps4.
