    If we want BF6 to be mind blowing, it will require 2 simple things to stand out from 80% of the FPS market:

    1) Remove ENTIRELY FLIR and IRNV items, be it scopes or goggles.
    IRNV is less a problem, but in every single FPS that features FLIR in any shape or form, it breaks the game in half. It's not fun for anyone, kills balance for newcomers, and basically make stealth and camouflage be completely meaningless.

    2) Remove Frag Rounds and reduce explosives overall.
    Mostly thinking of BF3/4 here: I don't know why they thought that adding Frag Rounds to a game that has a large majority of its audio being explosives a good idea. BF4 (and from what I saw of the subsequent games) has a big problem with not having something blow up every 2 seconds. Sure it's fun, sure it keeps the ambiance... But when you're trying to hear anything else, it's mind numbing. Practical example: Play Metro or Operation Locker without sound. You'll see you'll play exactly the same, minus the hearing loss.

    Anyways, I'm open for debate in comments, but getting rid of FLIR/Highlighting elements and reducing the ammount of explosives would make the future title much MUCH better

    Sorry to steal a CoD reference this but how in the actual fuck does EA/DICE make a WWII game without Russia. Not at launch, okay maybe it'll be like BF1 and we'll get a dlc with them. Flash forward 2 years and we have a steaming pile of dog shit.

    So many famous and notable battles and events that could have been in this game that are simply gone from this title.

    P.S. let's rewrite the history of WWII without swastikas because we don't want to offend the snowflakes. What the actual fuck.

    So, after the news EA/DICE are pulling the plug on BFV, I'm interested in trying BF1. With it being a 4 year old game I'm wondering how active the servers are and if it is worth buying?? Videos I have seen and from what I've heard it looks like a better game than BFV! I'll be playing on Xbox One, mainly big team games.

    So, I missed out on playing Battlefield 2142 back then, but the game seemed really cool, and it feels like EA has been reluctant to return to that time period. Battlefield V was a screw up, so why not start fresh, in the future, where your last time visiting this was almost two decades ago? Battlefield never got caught up in the futuristic advanced war shooter trend that CoD did a few years ago, so why not 2143? I'm just curious.
