    I've never played a battlefield game before but recently I've gotten quite interested in the series and I want to get one of the games but I heard the battlefield 5 sucks and that it's terrible so are there any better battlefields that still have a very large player base?

    I know there's a lot of hate for Battlefield V, and from some quick searching, a lot of people are still playing 1. As someone who never touched BF V before and only shortly played 1 on release on console, which is the better current PC experience?

    [Other] Battlefield 2021 exclusive to next-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X) and PC only

    A few articles mentioned that Battlefield 202 maybe next-gen exclusive only, meaning that Xbox One and PS4 players can't buy/play it. Hopefully it's not true and make it also available to current-gen consoles (Xbox One and PS4) and PC.

    For example, in the 2010s, BF4 was released for current and next gem consoles - Xbox One/360 and PS3/4.

    [BF1] Bf1 is great

    [BF6] future Battlefield concept: 1980s WW3? I believe this setting makes for a great battlefield game because it has enough of the vehicles, weapons, and gadgets we use today to please those who want a modern setting, while exploring an alternate history concept that is barely used in media.

    [BF]I wish that BF6 has premium again

    Live Service can be pretty neat when it's well done and it works in games where smaller (compared to BF3/4/1 DLCs) updates are expected, like in COD:MW, but it just doesn't work in Battlefield. We, the community, are used to huge DLCs every few months, and for that to be possible we need Premium again. I'd be willing to pay 50/60USD for the Premium if it meant that all the updates will arive on time and they'll be of certain quality.

    [BFH] Finished Hard-line today, and I loved it.

    I finished the game today, completing all the case files and warrant arrests on veteran difficulty.

    The game didn't feel like bf game. But there are soo much things I loved about.

    Collectables are more fun and easier to find. also the warrant arrests.

    Stealth was great.

    Combat was fun

    The story itself was also interesting and not too short like bf3's and BF4's.

    I hope they make a hard-line 2. But as a standalone game. I don't see it fit in with the other battlefield games.

    I'm gonna play BF BC 1 and 2 now.

    Then the first one.

    The opening cutscene of the game immediately got you to start feeling for the characters. And even though the quality of the story dipped as it went on, the game is beautiful, and I think well done. Obviosly it's not bad company, but I don't think it was a bad campaign

    I have the three games uninstalled (because of capacity and haven't played them in a long time) but, because of the latest news, I want to get back to Battlefield again, but I don't know which game is more alive.

    How much alive are these three games and what should I play? I'm in EU and I play on PC.

    [BF6] My Battlefield 6 Wishlist

    Ight so V was a cluster fuck and One was slightly disappointing to me as a WWI buff. So here's what I'd like to see in 6- probably a decent amount of unpopular shit in here but idc:

    1. Keep and expand upon building- its a great mechanic! Fleshed out it could be seriously dope to build mini fire bases.
    2. BF4 style weapons and assignments- I liked being able to pick up a shotty and still play recon, or be able to hunt tanks on Goldmund and still take pot shots at snipers with a DMR. Makes you think more about your role in the game and the equipment you take rather than the guns you are forced into using.

    - BF3/4 assignments were perfect imo.

    1. BF3/V gunplay- absolutely great! Make sniping harder.

    2. Bring back suppression in a meaningful way like in BF3. Make me fear getting shot at so that I have incentive to flank and use tactics in the face of overwhelming fire. In BF1/3, you could spray at a sniper and dash from cover to cover, but now in V quick scoping is just insane and snipers can pick you off super fucking fast.

    3. Bring back on-map artillery (mortars and bigger guns) but make it way harder to use. Maybe you have no idea where your shots land so you have to learn distances and adjust elevation or windage. Artillery ought to come back but just be balanced better, not scraped or simplified.

    4. Make sniping harder. If you don't wanna snipe, let recons pick other weapon classes shared amongst all classes as mentioned earlier.

    5. Bring back the asymmetric vehicles from BFV. Or at least give us different types of MBT's, IFV's, and the like to flesh out the vehicle gameplay- ie M1 Abrams and Challenger options for an MBT, each with their own stats.

    6. Different factions/customization. let me play as the French Foreign Legion or Royal Marines for a change! Maybe make the faction you pick grant certain buffs.

    7. 100 player matches. Hell Let Loose has 50v50 player matches, Squad and Post Scriptum have 40v40 player matches, and CoD MW has 50v50 in ground war, and 150 in Warzone. I'm willing to bet Dice can figure it out. Then bring back 5 men per squad.

    8. Keep the destruction nice and robust- it will be countered by building and gives you a ton of options to flank or destroy entrenched enemies.

    Bonus round: no BR mode or dumb small game modes like 5v5.
