[BF1] Reinstalled on PC....anyone playing? Posted: 08 Apr 2020 09:10 AM PDT I was watching youtube videos the other night and a bunch of recent BF1 videos came up and convinced me to reinstall all ~70gb of the game. It looked fun and I'm quarantined, I haven't played in a couple years. Cool. It installs overnight, I launch the game......and there's literally only 4 servers running that aren't completely empty and these 4 servers have one person each, literally, except one server had three people. Wow. Can't even play the game anymore. Sad. Do people only play in certain times or on EU servers? [BFV] Should DICE abandon Battlefield V to focus on the next game Posted: 07 Apr 2020 01:44 PM PDT I've heard that some fans are losing patience with Battlefield V so I have to ask: should DICE should abandon the current game in favor of the next game in 2020/2021? On one hand there are some famous World War II theaters that have yet to be introduced so there is still potential. On the other hand, BFV is still broken even 17th months so rather than sinking resources into a lost cause DICE should work solely on polishing the next Battlefield game. Any thoughts? But the whole planes/tanks/ big explosions, 32vs32 is getting tiring.. they should try something new for once. [BFV] Class System in BFV (and Bf3,4) Posted: 07 Apr 2020 01:35 PM PDT I think Battlefield would function better if there would be at least one more class. I'd like to add a pioneer class in bf V and give this class the gadgets to deal with vehicles (like piat, mines and stuff...). In exchange, the assault looses the anti-vehicle gadgets and gets more focused as an anti-infantery class. Why do i think so? The assault has the best weapons and also explosives. Which makes it the goto class. You really cannot counter it in any way. It is also the most played class, and with the semi-automatic and automatic rifles viable on any range. And since you Pickup ammo on the go (supply points, dead bodies) and anyone can revive squadmates, the downside of this class are was less meaningful. This is not about how the new classes should look like in detail, only a general idea. For me it sounds just natural: -a Scout class for scouting and sniping -a supported for ammo bags and supressive fire -a medic for medical Support -a pioneer for and against vehicles -a n assault for and against infantery pushes I am curios about your opinion.
