    Key points Battlefield 2021 should deliver on:

    • A Multiplayer experience bringing the main focus back on delivering an immersive "all out of war" large scale Battlefield sandbox
    • A complete launch package offering 10 - 12 diverse large scale multiplayer maps designed around Conquest and Rush
    • A complete launch package offering at least 10 primary weapons for each weapon class
    • Deep weapon customization similar to Battlefield 4 / Modern Warfare with multiple attachments
    • A challenge / ribbon systems offering unlockable cosmetic attachment and skin rewards for weapons and vehicles
    • No currency based progression systems (everything should be tied to gameplay and assignments)
    • A proper Ribbon and Service Star system at launch
    • Rent a Server program shortly after the launch window of the game
    • Return of the Operations mode to tell a new (modern) war story (instead of a Singleplayer experience?)
    • Thematic chapter based Live Service support with clear and determined content roadmaps before the start of a Chapter (set expectations)
    • At least 2 - 3 large scale multiplayer maps per chapter (the main focus of new content) (chapters should last 2 - 3 months)
    • Post-launch weapon support through permanent gameplay assignments instead of weekly time limited assignments
    • A Premium Battle Pass system to support the live service and deliver new cosmetic only content (inspired by the chapter theme)
    • A Premium Store (to support the live service) delivering new class specific character skins (adjusted for specific faction to keep the team distinction and immersion)

    With the death of battlefield V, lets take a look back [BF3,4,1]

    After the announcement that battlefield 5 will not have anymore new content, let's look back on how great bf3, bf4 and even bf1 to an extent, were in comparision. The longevity, the quantity of guns and customization(not counting bf1 for this one) without sacrificing quality. The quality of the MAPS (bf3 and 4 holding some of the most iconic ever), and just some of the battlefield only moments you could get "only in battlefield". What was your guys favorite memories from these games, and what are you hoping for from the next battlefield release?

    [BF4] Thinking of buying Battlefield 4, have some questions

    Hey everyone! This is a repost, I forgot to put a tag in the title.

    So I'm thinking about buying myself Battlefield 4, since it's €5, but I have few questions.

    Now as far as I know, the game is still relatively active, there are players online and it won't be a problem to find servers to play on. However, I also understand that the game had dlcs that unlock maps/weapons. So that means I won't be able to play on certain maps and use certain weapons? Is it still worth getting the base game, or do I need to buy the premium edition if I want to actually play the game?

    Since I don't know how many of the active servers use the dlcs, I decided to come here and ask.

    As a note, I'm from Europe, so i hope that there are at least a few active servers here.
