    [bv5] Got this amazing game with 0 deaths. Have been in the British AA tank al game. Shot 1 enemy tank 3 infanterie man en shot down 6 aircraft’s. Really proud of myself because I only have about 40 hours in the game and am a complete noob to shooters on console.

    I want to buy it but I'm not sure if people are still playing it, I used to play it in console and I want to play it on PC and introduce a friend to battlefield.

    Also do my progress and premium transfer to PC? I think it does but I'm not sure.

    BF3 really was and still feels ahead of its time. I'm from Aus and have no servers so had to play in U.S. servers so had a slight lag but that didn't stop the absolute enjoyment and happiness it brought me. What a game. It still gives me the same feeling as the day I first loaded it up. To me this is the benchmark of FPS games and it still hasn't been topped.

    Just played a little bit of BF4 and it made me think about all the great things of the older games and the newer ones as well. These are things I want in the next Battlefield game.

    • Modern era or cold war period .
    • MOVEMENT: Slower movement, no sliding, jumping and crouching and standing up all slow your movement in regards to momentum so people cant just ree like chickens with their heads cut off, this makes things more methodical. .
    • GAME TYPE: Multiplayer only, focus resources like map design and terrain building into the best part of all battlefield games and the main reason people play it, focus game modes should be conquest and rush maps should be designed around these two modes and other modes will fit into them perfectly. maybe have a coop training range .
    • TRAINING RANGE: all loadouts and weapons, and special weapons, all vehicles available for at least one faction plus additional features like showing bullet trajectory like in the bf5 range. .
    • APPEARENCE: Having faction specific cosmetic customization for appearance, let us pick from a few different helmets/headgears, plate carriers, shirts and pants that change what's on them depending on your class. Assault will have a defib on him, support will have shoulder pad attachments and ammo box/belts, engineer will have rockets on his back, recon will have some type of ghillie on his head and shoulders. Also allowing some facepaints maybe and changing patches on your clothing to show ingame achievements like dogtags. Cammoflauge will be adaptive for colour but you will be able to pick patterns. .
    • WEAPON CLASSES: class specific weapons and universal weapons. I am a believer that all classes should be able to have weapons proficient In all ranges like in bf3, and bf4. I hope every class gets access to dmrs, shotguns, and carbines. The other weapons will be class specific:
    • assault, assault rifles and battle rifles
    • engineer, smgs, pdws
    • support, lmgs, mmgs
    • recon, bolt action snipers and semi auto snipers. .
    • ATTACHMENTS: Weapon attachments similar to bf4 but with the addition of gas systems to increase or decrease rate of fire for an increased or decreased recoil pattern. Bipods that work similarly to bf4 but with a wider cone of vision, unless the team at dice can make the bf5 system more consistent. .
    • BULLETS AND GUNPLAY: All the weapons will have higher TTK than bf4, similar to bf5. Accuracy will also be like bf5, where learning recoil patterns is crucial and bullets go where the crosshairs are aimed. All guns can penetrate soft cover with minimal damage reduction. Mmgs, battle rifles, dmrs and sniper rifles, and mounted Hmgs can penetrate hard cover with around 30 percent reduction for snipers and Hmgs and 60 percent reduction for battle rifles, dmrs and Mmgs. Mmgs, brs, dmrs, hmgs, and snipers can all do similar damage to helicopters with an added reduction of 25 percent .
    • FORTIFICATION system will be similar to bf5, being able to build ladders to rooftops, build bridges across water, and build sandbags and supply stations in objectives, also building stationary weapons like the aa guns in bad company 2 or kornet/tow launchers, or hmgs. .
    • ATTRITION system, ammo will be dependent on the type of weapon you are using mmgs and LMGs will have 4 boxes mmgs will have 3 boxes, snipers, dmrs, brs will have 5 magazines, assault rifles will have 7 magazines, smgs and Pdws will have 8 magazines, pistols and machine pistols will have 3 magazines Shotguns will have 40 rounds plus whatever is in the weapon. Health will have a tier system that will regenerate to either 25, 50, 75, or 100 percent depending on the damage recieved, everyone gets one bandage that heals that person up one tier, you can also use your bandage on other squadmates. You CANNOT use a bandage during combat, there is a 5 second period where the bandage cannot be used after you are shot. You also Cannot fire a primary weapon while using a bandage, to cancel using the bandage you must swap to your sidearm. Bandage has a 2 second animation. .
    • ANIMATIONS. No more enter and exit vehicle animations, or make them quicker. Melee animations quick time events between 2 players starts with a knife animation and can be countered if the initial victim completes a quicktime event when prompted, can be a variety of buttons that need to be pushed, and can only be countered from the front. Animation is cancelled if either combatant is shot and killed. No more stabbing someone 3 times and they then turn and shoot you with a shotgun. Running animations through water looks like you lift your weapon a bit, other terrain that changes how you run, tripping a little bit on maps that are more urban, sprinting fine in open fields small things like that. Marking an objective or spotting an enemy plays an animation in third person of you pointing toward something. Other third person animations in regard to the commerose wheel. .
    • ATMOSPHERE there needs to be an atmosphere of war, being able to hear explosions and weapon fire through the whole map, maybe brief moments of silence but only for a second. If a gun shoots on the map I should hear it. No Rotterdam style gameplay where it feels empty. Footstepsncan be heard but usually only in those brief moments of silence or when you are in a small house or building. The main way to know where an enemy is is when you hear them yell to there teamates about reloading or getting shot, or shooting someone, etc. This is a battlefield after all and it should feel like one. .
    • VEHICLE: vehicles will have customizable skins unlocked along with gadgets and weapon types through leveling the vehicles. High levels will have mesh skins. All vehicles can have adaptive camouflage depending on the map. Vehicles will consist of:
    • light transport (weaponized buggy 4x4)
    • medium transport ( weaponized mrap style)
    • Apc/afv
    • mbt
    • scout helicopter
    • transport helicopter
    • attack helicopter
    • ground attack planes
    • air attack planes
    • transport boats
    • attack boats .
    • UI: changing weapons and attachments that were unlocked in a round during that same round and also in menu. Customize apparel in game and in menu. .
    • 3D SPOTTING: only way to 3d spot is with the tag system similar to cod warzone that will follow an enemy for a short amount of time, only you and your squad sees this. Spotting abilities of recon class only apply to the minimap. Minimap will also show positions of unsupressed gunfire, will not show cones of fire. Ping system also allows marking of objectives, vehicles, supply/medic boxes. Ping will show on minimap. .
    • SQUADS: squads can have up to 5 players, you will be able to spawn on them out of combat. Squad leader has the ability to use squad points to call in up to 3 artillery calls, 4 transport vehicles, 5 resupplied, 4 smokescreen and a jdam type bomb that can only be called in once per game by a squad. Squad leader can also mark objectives and see where other squads leaders have marked objectives on the map. .
    • TEAM BALANCER: last but not least we need some kind of team balance or team switch option very badly.
