[BF V] Almost every game has a cheater or two; 60+ other players have to pay the price

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 02:44 AM PDT

How could an AAA game from such big producer and developer have such a bad anti cheat system? Do you guys even play your own game? It's literally unplayable and nothing is being done about it.

played around 6 games today and all of them had aimbotters in them.

On the official forums honest players are being silenced when they bring up the issue, there's one megathread to contain all the posts regarding cheating and if anyone posts anything outside of it they are removed and given a ban.

There's a strict no name and shame policy and another rule where you cant discuss forum moderation and the volunteer mods on the forums are going crazy with the bans.

For example if someone posts a question like, why don't we just allow videos of cheaters on the forums so that the devs can have a look at them and ban them if they are indeed cheating? you would get a ban since a volunteer mod would decide that's a topic discussing moderation.

Wouldn't that actually save a lot of time if a system like that was implemented?

So basically decent players who just want to play the game honestly and have some fun are being punished for voicing their opinions and the cheaters are given free reign to get some sense of self worth into their pathetic lives at the expense of honest players.

Now if you're one of those people who are gonna come here and say "oh I've never come across a cheater, you must be just bad at the game" go through my posts and save yourself from looking like an idiot.

Players payed for this game and they are being let down big time. what happened to you DICE? you used to be a great company.

Edit: if anyones interested here's the link to the megathread, it's 137 pages so far

[Question] Is the Operations game mode on BF1 dead?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 08:35 AM PDT

Hey everyone. For a little bit of nostalgia, I wanted to get back into operations on battlefield 1. On PC, I had absolutely zero luck. Everyone says it's dead. I have not tried on PS4, and I want to know if operations on PS4 are popular at all, and if it's only relegated to the vanilla maps or if DLC maps have some sort of a player base on certain days.

Thank you so much for your help. Operations was, and still remains my favorite game mode in battlefield.

[BF4] Is Battlefield 4 still worth getting?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 04:04 AM PDT

Trust me, Battlefield 5 has torn me apart, and I just want some fun. But the PS4 Premium Edition is £35 here in the UK, which is a decent investment, and I don't want to be spending that kind of money when I could be walking into an empty game.

Graphics: BF3 aesthetic but with photogrammetry

    Time period: modern-very near future

Major Factions: USA, Russia, EU, Turkic council. Minor factions (for campaign): Arab League, Iran, Kurdish separatists, Ukraine, Russian Mercenaries.

New multiplayer mode: a mode with 15 squads of 10 where the end goal is to be the last standing. Kind of like a battle royale. But with a twist. All squads spawn at different sides of the map. Every squad must have a person in a jet, a tank and an IFV. Team play and coordination between squad members in critical. A pilot and tank driver must make good use of their vehicles in order to ensure the survival of their squads.

Story: Part 1: The Turkic-Arab war Despite the demands from the Arab League and Greece, Turkey continues to extract Gas from the Eastern Meditarian. This irks them to the point where they (the Arab League) offers a large amount of money to the US to take action. The USA refuses the offer. Seeking to reassert it self, France hands over support. A combined EU force led by France touches down in northern Syria and Iraq, Southern Cyprus and various Arab nations as well as naval patrols in the Eastern Meditarian. Feeling confident due to the newfound support, Egypt launches an attack on a Turkish ship.... This triggers the Turkic Council to launch an all out assault in Northern Syria and Iraq, mainly targeting the Kurdish Separatists that the EU backs. The EU decides to withdraw after this event. The Turkic council then prepares for a huge assault. They end up decimating the Arab navy and take over major cities such as Cario and Dubai - it ends in an utter defeat for the Arab League and an embarrassing adventure for the EU. Oil prices get sky high and resource rich nations such as Iran and Russia benefit greatly....

Part 2: The USA encroachment on Russia After realizing the huge boost to Iran's economy and their newfound control over oil prices, the US starts an invasion of Iran. The goal is to topple the government as quick as possible. After just a week the USA takes over Tehran and reaches the Caspian Sea. The US asks the Turkic Council for access to its regions which border Russia. The Turkic council chooses to deny access. Scared of a reaction by Russia, the Ukrainians call for US assistance. The USA sends huge reinforcements and begins its Assualt on Russian mercenaries. This leads to retaliation by the Russian army and ultimately clashes between the two. The Americans manage to near Crimea through the Ukrainian mainland..

Part 3: The Black Sea Battle Wanting to cut off Russian influence in the Black Sea, the US begins to ready up for a naval battle. The fleets of America and Russia enter a tense standoff in visual range of each other. Things remain calm until a Russian ship fires a missile which damages a US carrier. The two sides clash in a long battle involving jets, vessels and even infantry boarding other ships. In the end a ceasefire is ordered by the higher command of both countries. As both sides begin to patch themselves up unidentified aircraft fly overhead. They bomb the Russian ships in their first fly by. They turn back and strike the US ships too... both fleets sink into the Black Sea.

    The SMLE in [Battlefield 1]

    Posted: 04 Apr 2020 01:11 PM PDT

So why does our character pull their head back when pulling the bolt back? The SMLE had the distinct advantage of having a bolt that does go back too far so you could keep aiming while loading.

[discussion] Somehow Battlefield always feels authentic

    Posted: 04 Apr 2020 10:41 PM PDT

Ever since I started playing battlefield with bf3 to playing bfv I've noticed what makes battlefield such a different experience from other shooters like cod. It's the battlefield moments that happen during the matches. Where else can you fly a jet into a tank or shoot a pilot out of a jet and just feel elite and badass. It's truly amazing how these unscripted moments happen during online matches that other games would have in a campaign. Everyone has had they're battlefield moments whether it was turning a corner and seeing a tank turn it's barrel toward you and suddenly your running for your life away from explosions or gunfire or you drive a Jeep with c4 to kill a tank that's controlling a flag or even taking down a skyscraper. I just wanted to show some appreciation to a game with so many memorable moments and basically shaped my childhood gaming.

I rlly hope dice does a good job with their next title. I've heard it's meant to be bad company 3 but I'll take any modern title. I'm just glad dice has been able to keep a battlefield feel with they're games even if bfv feels a little different it still has it's memorable moments and feels somewhat like a battlefield game.
