    Whenever I press play on the origin launcher it freezes a little and nothing. It would not show up on task manager and it says i am playing it on origin.

    I have reinstalled it, repaired it, set get.dxrender to 1, ran as administrator, changed compatibility to Windows 8 and 7, disabled origin in game, restarted my pc, updated all my drivers.

    Something to note is that I used to be able to play it but now I can't, and in my documents folder for bf1, there is no twinkle folder

    Please help if you can and I will post my solution if I get it.

    [Other] EA are currently banning anyone playing BFV on Linux, also reports of BF4 players being banned. Bans are permanent so avoid starting the game until EA gives some news.

    Hi there,

    I've recently not been able to play BF4 due to it saying 'lost connection to server' and mentioning something about a UDP port?

    This has never happened in the 1 year I've owned the game and it's really starting to annoy me.

    It's not just limited to me either, it happens to my friend as well.

    EDIT: I tried adding the UPD port to my firewall rules however this didn't work

    It's been a long time since I played but my god it brings back good memories playing again and the game is far from dead.

    I really hope they drop their current way of developing posh wine bar games and start making quality games like this in the future.
