    [BF4] Player count on servers

    Anyone else go to join a server that says for example 50/64 players and In the middle of a game and you go to join it and theres like 5 people on the server? I had that happen a few times recently and wanted to know if it was just me lol.. this was on PC

    I'm returning to the game and not sure what gun I should focus on. I generally want somthing for mid range as that's normally where I am. But also not useless close range and can single tap long. Suggestions?

    Yes I am still salty and I want to address it again now years after.

    The excuses still still make me feel angry;

    Such as the excuse when they were firsy removing modding it was because of the difficulty of making stuff in the frostbite engine. Modders are God damn clever; this can never have been the legitimate excuse. And how can you even say that one of the greatest mods of bf2 delivered you a game developer. A. GOD. DAMN. Game developer.

    And don't let me hear the other excuse; oh well it would have made it probably easier to hack. Just how many people are there STILL hack despite of this. You just didn't want a community which stuck to a title such as one with bf2 because you would get away with games of far lower quality because you wanted to get people to buy the newer games not stick with the older ones when they were eventually fixed.

    For the people who can still remember the modding days or title nowadays that support modding; have you not gotten hours more fun out of the game that otherwise could have been played for only like 6 hours without it being repetitive. Well you are out of luck because EA (not only dice) just sucks; microtransactions, unfinished games, lack of transparency and more unsavory business practices are evident that they do not care about your experience they care about money. And I just wanted to vent my anger; money and good experience CAN coexist. (Being known as a company which goes to lengths to give a good experience for the players will get more people to buy from you for certain)

    (Some people also wrote extensively on the amount of extra money you can get out of modding but I will not link them here because if EA has not been convinced for so many years they will not be convinced now)

    Yeah that is my rant

    Chapter Rewards Being Available After Chapter Ends? [BFV]

    Particularly with upcoming Chapter V.

    I'm talking about uniforms, specifically, cause I know that there's usually outfits that get rewarded when you achieve a high enough chapter rank, but, as a student, I don't play very often enough (Plus I'm just not very good at the game) to earn these outfits that way, and would be really really happy if they were added for purchase in the store (Preferably for Company Coin) afterwards, cause I would really love to have as many outfits as I can get for my American and Japanese factions.

    [BF:L] What the hell happened to BC2?

    I bought the game on PC after getting a new gaming laptop, and was super excited to play again. Instead, I found a community that only wants to play about 3-5 maps, no official servers, and a giant rule list that includes kicking people for trying to provide sniper cover from the base on rush maps. What the actual fuck is this shit? I have never had such severe buyer's remorse as this. I'm still furious from being autokilled because I sniped someone trying to ambush a squad moving up on the M-coms while I was near my spawn (was playing attacker side on Laguna, second M-com set). The point of the recon class is to provide cover so the rest of the squad can advance. Is this really what the community has been reduced to? I can understand not wanting people to just sit in spawn all game, but this is a rush map we're talking about. Sitting in spawn all game means losing. Why are we punishing people for trying to cover the rest of the squads moving in?

    Long story short, if you're an old veteran of BC2 multiplayer and are thinking of coming back, don't. It's not worth it.
