    BF 1942- 10 years old kamikaze pilot. would go to an actual gaming facility and pay 5$ for a couple hours and play with everyone on old clunky PCs.

    BF3- 19 years old. I mastered the Jet would rain hell from above with anti-vehicle missles.

    BF1- 24 years old endlessly sprinting into nothingness until I bayonted someone OR jumping off the Zeppelin.

    BF2042- I am 29...have two kids and a wife. I play a few hours a week. All I do is go on portal (milsim versions) and get yelled at for friendly fire because my eyes aren't what they use to be.

    Do you think development might return to BfV?

    When hardline came out and pretty quickly fell off (much to my dismay, I liked the game) DICE continued to work on bf4 for quite a few more years afterwards, which, if I remember correctly, was not planned. Do you think something like this could happen with bfV if bf2042 can never get it's footing? BfV seems to be having a resurgence in player numbers and a lot of people agree that it was on the right track before being forced to shut down. Maybe hand bfV over to ripple effects and let them out content while stockhold continues to work on 2042.

    So, I was playing through the BF4 campaign, and now I know why I still enjoy it as much now as I did all those years ago. It was simply beautiful.
