Better movement in BF3 vs 4

After playing BF3 then right after play BF4 and then BF3 again you can really feel how clunky and awkward the movement is in BF4. I felt like a drunk guy woobling around. Almost got a seasick sensation. What is going on and why is BF4 more popular than BF3??
