Do field-upgrades work on vehicles? Posted: 16 May 2021 09:24 AM PDT If I were to equip the shadow/sniper/spec ops perk for the class upgrades. Would I be able to maintain spots/get unspotted quicker if I were to play in a vehicle? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 May 2021 09:40 AM PDT Thanks to a dlc map server I found on xbox, I finally unlocked the f2000. I just wanted to thank [GROM] for hosting the server as it allowed me to get this gun and I hope to get the M60 on that same server in the future. [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 May 2021 01:25 PM PDT I'm trying to get the hang of BF4 to sort of get ready for BF6, I was wondering if anybody would be down to play with me and kind of help get the hang of it. I love BF1 and play BFV a lot but never really played BF4. I'm on Xbox and my gamertag is DissatGaming [link] [comments]

Battlefield 3 vs Battlefield 4 map design Posted: 16 May 2021 11:54 AM PDT Most people that like Battlefield 3 over Battlefield 4, specially for the map design, are most likely cod fans who joined the series with BF3. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But BF3 launch maps aren't all they are made out to be. They are super linear with a heavy emphasis on close quarters combat. Most of them funnel you into combat where you are most likely going to engage the enemy head-on. They are filled with choke points with a few flanking opportunities. BF4 launch maps on the other hand had the opposite problem where they were too open and you were exposed from far too many angles. But Siege of Shanghai, Golmud Railway, Zavod 311 and Paracel Storm are some of the best conquest launch maps in the series. They each play unique and offer some of the best and most intense sandbox combat in the entire series. Grand Bazaar and Seine Crossing are the only BF3 launch maps that were just as good. Kharg Island and Caspian were pretty good as well. Damavand was good in Rush(still a league below BC2 rush maps) and Noshahr had god tiered TDM. But the best BF4 launch maps were still better than anything BF3 had to offer at launch by a mile. A lot of people from BF3 disliked them because they didn't simplify the combat like the codified maps in BF3. Siege of Shanghai is up there with Strike at Karkand as the best urban map in the battlefield series. The fact that you could parachute down to any of the points from the central tower like a paratrooper and cause mayhem was incredible. Each of the points had intense infantry combat with multiple routes of entry and exit. Paracel Storm offered intense naval combat. Replacing tanks with attack boats was awesome because they were just as destructive but easily countered. Successfully sneaking up on and clearing points C and D from the water as infantry made you feel like badass special forces. The central building on points C and D was the clear target to attack and defend from. It provided some of the most intense close quarters combat in BF history. The buildings had multiple routes of infantry from the ground and from the air(scout/transport helis). Of course you could capture the points from water(attack boats) or anywhere on the islands. Golmud Railway had some of the best map design at points A, B and C. It was well balanced between infantry and vehicles. The destruction from BC2 was present on these points. Enemy is harassing you from that building? Blow it it up. Point D(moving train) was the clear point to take and hold at first since it pretty much guaranteed a victory(the train would move to your side). Not much needs to be said about the perfection that was Zavod with its perfect linear design that offered enough verticality and flanking routes to prevent the map from having giant choke points. It was a clear step up from maps like Grand bazaar, damavand peak or operation metro all of which were linear with very limited flanking opportunities. Of course not all BF4 maps at launch were classics. We had duds like Rouge Transmission, Dawnbreaker and Lancang damn. Hainian resort and Floodzone had their problems with open angles and bad map flow. Both BF3 and BF4 DLCs offered some of the best maps in the games. This is specially true of BF3 since the Back to Karkand and Aftermath DLCs put the majority of launch maps to shame. BF3 aftermath maps are still some of the very best urban maps in Battlefield history. But BF4 also had some incredible maps offered through DLC. Both Naval Strike and Dragons teeth were incredible. Operation Mortar, Wave Breaker, Pearl Market and Sunken dragon are all some of the best maps in battlefield history. Pearl Market and Sunken dragon in particular are criminally underrated since they are some of the best urban maps in the franchise that go toe-to-toe with Markaz Monolith, Azadi Palace, Stike at Karkand, Siege of Shanghai, Sharqi Peninsula and other classics. Don't let all these fools who like maps that funnel you into action like meat-grinders fool you. BF4 had better maps at launch than BF3. They were classic battlefield maps that required a little bit of thought from the player regarding movement, attack/defense and firefight engagement distances. They valued and rewarded clever and creative players who tried different tactics and strategies. The DLC maps in both games were more or less of equal quality. Edit: I can't believe I typed all of this up eventhough no one is going to read it lmao. TL;DR: The best battlefield 4 launch maps were a tier above any launch maps in BF3 on conquest. BF3 definitely did rush better but still not nearly as good as BC2. BF3 and BF4 had equally good DLCs. [link] [comments]

How to climb ladders super fast Posted: 16 May 2021 12:01 AM PDT I remember these very few times where I could climb the ladders really fast, even the animation was different when this animation happened. Instead of being able to look up or around, your screen is redirected towards the ladder as you climb the rest of your way either up or down. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please comment down below. [link] [comments]
