    I picked up the game on sale, but premium is still $40. I was wondering if it would be a worthwhile investment or not. Or, does the game come with premium on EA Play? I'm assuming not, but that would save me $10.

    I just picked up the game on sale, and played the campaign to find that I got only the QBZ for my chosen completion path. Do I have to go back and do it all again for the other two guns?

    Ok so after hearing everyone say Battlefield 4 is the best installment of the franchise I decided to pick it up. Been playing Battlefield games since the early 2000's, played CoD since the first game, I'm no stranger to these franchises but I've always preferred BF. Campaign had some so-so moments but the storyline was really cool. That's worth the $7.99 right there so I'm not too terribly butt hurt. Sent Hannah after the detonator in a heartbeat at the end. F.

    Moved onto multiplayer and I've gotten past the initial getting slaughtered phase and I'm halfway up the leaderboard at the end of most matches. I can get kills, play cooperatively, and pilot most of the vehicles with some degree of success. Vehicles have always come natural to me in previous titles so I'm a little bummed there. Gunplay is a good balance of realism and fun. Love the way the game looks and sounds.

    I've played a lot of unbalanced maps where I'm getting spawn killed without a chance to even pull the trigger (Golmud comes to mind). If I enter a tank I die, if I engage a tank with an anti tank weapon I also die. If I go onto a roof I die, if I move between POI's without total cover or a full squad I die. After grinding it a bit I've unlocked a handful of weapons, none of which have optics rendering them mostly unusable. Sniping is satisfying but a little less so than in other titles.

    The cult of personality this game has seems to revolve entirely around the Shanghai map. Locker is atrocious, I found some of the flooded map to be enjoyable. I know I'm playing against what's left of the hardcore fan base for this title, but should I be able to not be flanked within seconds of every spawn? Campers in the outside lane of Locker for example are untouchable, despite multiple attempts to dislodge them with everything at my disposal.

    What am I doing wrong? Did I need to spend two dollars more for the ultimate edition? Do I really need to drop eighty dollars on four separate DLC's to play the other maps? Is this peak evil EA and I just need to lower my expectations? This game is considered by many to be the best of the best but right now I just miss the old days of Battlefield 2. Help?

    Edit: thank you to everyone for your responses, I will keep grinding and see what I can do once I've unlocked more weapons.
