As in which still has a decent amount of players and hasn't been abandoned to allow hackers and stuff to take over?

I used to love 4 but is it still playable?

Just asking because as of next month I will be able to play 1 and 5 for free but heard 5 is trash, is it worth installing?

I've been meaning to play the old BF games as I've been a fan for a long time on console. Now that I've saved up a few bucks to get my own PC, I want the true Battlefield experience. Are there still servers active?

Battlefield 4 No audio at all

Hi there. I have the problem suggested in the title. When I open the game I have no audio what-so-ever. I tested different devices from a Bluetooth Headset to an USB Headset and even the godman monitor speaker. Nothing works. I tried the PROFSAVE_profile settings fix, still complete and utter silence. I tried switching devices with the game open. Still.Nothing. I disabled the origin overlay, Battlelog notifications, windows defender and still hear the sound of silence.

Then it worked, everything was fine without me doing/changing a fu*cking thing. But now, because of course, it's back again and I can't hear anything once more. Does anyone know this problem and how to fix it?

I recenty bought BF4 on steam and these days it's so hard to find a decent populated server. There are a lot of servers on the server browser section showing from 60 to 64 players and yet when i join there are 0 to 10 players at most.

I read somewhere on this sub that this is due to botting and stuff like that but how can i fix that? I even tried battlelog but it's the same thing.

Battlefield (even) 5 is awesome at everything. After an hour of COD, I start feeling like it's just the same ol thing. Go out shoot some dudes, get flanked or spawn fucked and die.

Battlefield? NO. Unless it's one of those all flags are ours or theirs match. It's relatively exciting. The TDM is a little bland for me.

I realise it's because in COD, with killstreaks a lot changes. It really makes it dynamic and unpredictable.

If the next Battlefield had killstreaks in TDM. I would say that's the complete game and I'll never need a COD again.

(Money's tight, buying PS5 in winter 2021 means getting only either the 2021 COD or the next BF :P)
